These are wonderful pants, durable, and with a very generous fit. They have a little stretch, but as the fit is very generous that hardly matters. The material is soft and lightweight and is great for summer wear or if you work in a hot office like I do. Thankfully, they are not see-through. They are as flattering as they can be given that they are wrapped around my oversized frame. This is the sixth pair of these I’ve bought. I would’ve bought more, except the five that I bought 10 years ago are still in action. I’ve worn and washed them once a week for that 10 years. I’ve worn them 500 times and I’m still wearing them. Have been searching for this type of pants for some time, thanks to Amazon have found them. I wear these as normal clothing, not as medical scrubs. Generous cut and fit, loads of room, elastic waist band and the sturdy drawstring are huge pluses and the fully functional zipper fly is a great blessing since one doesn't need to partially undress to use the restroom. Poly/cotton blend is very comfortable and feels substantial, has nice finished appearance even after being washed. Washed these using normal heat and drier cycles and they do not shrink, dry very quickly because of the high polyester content. Khaki color does not bleed noticeable dye in wash but darker colors do. Lots of pockets - can stow my datebook and phone, slash pockets are surprisingly substantial and appear to be able to wear very well with keys and other gear. Highly recommended. ... show more

As a woman with a bigger booty who likes her pants to sit at her waist ... these are the perfect style. The elastic/drawstring combo mean they stay where they are supposed to at all times. They are roomy, long enough for my 5'8" have TONS of pockets for all the stuff I need. My ONLY criticism (and what kept them from getting 5 stars) is that Cherokee changed the fabric composition of these pants (I have an older pair in white ... used the tag inside to find these newer ones for new job). They used to be 55% cotton and 45% polyester ... Now they are 65% polyester and 35% cotton. They are more lightweight but I like the other blend better, they just feel better on the skin. And with the older blend the white ... yeah nice and sturdy and NOT see through. ... show more

I do casual... all the time. I'm always looking for comfortable trousers that don't require a lot of fuss or upkeep and that are inexpensive enough to keep me from crying too much when I have to purchase them. I have purchased Cherokee athletic pants before and I really like them; the choice of "scrubs" was a bit of a risk for me. I really didn't want to look like an orderly from " One Flew over The Cuckoo's Nest". I was pleasantly surprised when I received these. I really like the cargo pockets. Big deep pockets are purses for men... I don't want to carry an over-the-shoulder man purse but I sometimes have a lot of junk I need to carry (cell phone, keys, wallet, snacks etc.) and these fill the bill. What I really like about these is that I don't look like "Captain Sweatpants" from the Big Bang Theory"... they are a bit more "dressy" than that. Worn with a sport shirt these can almost pass for slacks. ... show more

    • Great pants, horrible waist tie
Size: XX-Large Big Color: Black
First, the pants I am reviewing have the elastic in the waist and the wider, flat nylon waist tie. The pants themselves are exactly what I was looking for, as the XXL fit perfect in the legs and seat. The length is longer than some will like, but that is pretty much the same in all the different brands I have tried. The material is soft and comfortable to wear all day. The lose of stars is from the waist tie, which is awful. Whether cinched tight or loose, the bow knot is hard to untie quickly. While that might seem like a good thing, because no one wants their pants to untie in the middle of work, it gets frustrating quickly. When I have to use the “facilities” at work, I do not have much time to actual use them, let alone spend an extra 30 to 40 seconds trying to get the bow knot untied. The waist closure nylon rope gets tighter when you pull on it, and the knot part gets so small it is hard to pull apart. I have actually had to install a drawstring bag plastic pull to make these pants work better in that regard. Also, I had to return 2 pairs that came with no elastic in the waist. They appeared to be exactly the same, but just had no elastic in the waist. I suspect that this was NOT a manufacturing error but instead from a different line of pants they produce, as you can see the waists were different. ... show more

I’ve literally bought these for the past few years simply because they are…..for lack of a better word? Perfect I’ve been a chef 31 years and have never worn anything more comfortable and stable ( they don’t get worn out fast, perfect in the wash, side pockets for my cut gloves and thermometers, etc; ) I’m about to purchase 2 more pair as soon as im done typing this.
