Chemical Guys Hyrdo View is perfect for cleaning your vehicles windows. I personally clean my windows with a different brands window wipes, prior to applying this ceramic. In my time of having this product over the past three weeks, the ceramic has proved durable. It’s easy spray on and wipe off style leaves your vehicle streak free and dries quick! I’ve only applied this twice in the last month (in between car washes) and it has proved its worth throughout Texas and Oklahoma storms, and has never failed to bead up water. Beaded water proves for better visibility and safety, during rain storms! While the solution in the bottle appears purple, fear not as it will not leave any purple residue on your windows!     • Great for Inside Applications - not so much for outside applications ...
Product is easy to work with - spreads decently - wipes clean - you MUST follow the application instructions for this product NOT to smear & streak & make a royal mess of your windows. Take your time - get some really good microfiber clothes & as mentioned - take your time. First cleaned my Windows using Windex with Vinger & then once the Windows were clean & dry - applied this cleaner with Ceramic & used a WHOLE different batch of CLEAN Microfiber clothes. Don't use paper towels - they'll leave little dust bunnies & the finished result won't be as clean & streak free as with using decent Microfiber clothes. Just for the fun of it - cleaned my shower glass first with a Mr. Clean pad & then Windex & then finally this product. Worked great for about 2 weeks before I noticed soap scum starting to build backup - so - ya - great for inside dry applications - not so great for shower stall glass - GREAT for Bathroom Mirrors - notice it cuts/reduces fog build up a fair amount - but - only seems to last about 3 weeks before you need to clean your mirror & start the application process again. Cleans great, just need to wipe dry well or there will be streaks. So far I like this product very well.

    • A little patience and this works well.
Probably the best advice I could give is to apply this product and then buff it out rather quickly with a dry microfiber cloth. Don't let it air dry. This will make it quite difficult to see out your car's windows and make it look like you just spread Vaseline all over your windows. This product does a good job of keeping the water off of your windows. I really got the product because I was looking for something to cut the amount of water spots on my window after a dirty rain. This product does a good job of that. The price is a bit high for how much you get but it should last you a long time. The sprayer has worked fine for me as well. I haven't noticed any film buildup on my windows from using this product long-term, so you should be fine. ... show more

I have been buying and using this product for over 5 years now. And have used it in all of the weather conditions possible. I love the fact that it leaves no streaks on the window, provided that you would use not one microfiber cloth but a few of you have a big car like i do (2006 Toyota Highlander limited hybrid). Unlike other window cleaning sprays that i have tried to use the chemical guys one works absolutely the best out of all of them, the windows are clear, improving the overall visibility during day or night or any weather conditions like snow or rain. And not to mention the water does not stay on the window for long when you apply the hydrophobic spray, especially if you're driving on the highway at 60 mph and it's raining you don't even have to use the wipers!!! ... show more

This product didn’t work for me at all. I read the directions and applied it as per the directions on the bottle two different times over the course of a week. It didn’t repel water any better than the untreated side and it fogged up worse than the untreated side.
