My 16 yr old got this for Halloween. He's about 5'10" and fairly lean - tends to wear men's sizes small to medium (he likes things fairly loose on him but not baggy). The chef's jacket is probably around a men's large, but it still looked pretty good on him. It looked more like the real thing despite the word "Chef" screenprinted on it. I don't know what the closures used to be that another review was complaining about, but now they're velcro, so they're easy to do & don't show as long as you line up the jacket edges where they're supposed to be. The hat wasn't quite as impressive & did suffer some creasing from the way it was packaged, but it was still good enough. The whisk is oversized plastic & obviously a joke. So in the final analysis, the jacket made it worth buying - he got several compliments on it, though if we hadn't been down to the wire, we'd definitely have taken time to do some price shopping ... show more

Bought this costume for myself for work. It was cute,comfy easy enough to clean. Only thing I didn't like is it wrinkles easy and does have to be ironed. Still a good buy for less than $20.

I needed this costume. So I had to make my own alterations to it because I wear a 2X and it was to tight around the middle. Maybe the merchant should offer plus size . The fabric is very delicate, in that it would rip easily and snag.

It worked for what I needed it for. Very gag like costume, since it’s a bit oversized. If that’s what you’re going for then here you go.
