This is a good chef jacket with just a few issues. It is well made, with the possible exception that the button holes are a bit small for the button sizes, and the stitching around the buttons could be more robust. I like that the double breasted front can be buttoned either left-over-right or right-over left. The sizing is accurate and the length of the jacket is what one would want. It is a good looking jacket. The pocket on the left shoulder is so small as to be useless to me. It would hold a pen, but the thermoworks thermometer I use will not fit in it. A more generous pocket would be appreciated. I selected black in order to conceal stray splashes of chocolate better than the white would. The fabric is a nice weight. The 65/35 poly/cotton blend is a compromise -- wearing polyester can be like wearing a plastic bag, but this fabric seems more breathable than many 65/35 blends, and the polyester improves the washability of the jacket and reduces staining. Despite a few issues, this is well worth the cost, and I can recommend it. ... show more

Chef coat looks professional. Out of the package it will need a light pressing of thrown in the wash to get the creases out. The fabric is a polyester cotton blend and will be easy clean I wish it had a little stretch on it for shoulder flexibility but the fit is generous enough while still looking trim and neat. ... show more

Normally I would take my apron, but getting this chef coat is leveling things up. It’s a nice thick material and it fits nicely over my shirt.
