I am one grande dude, so with clothes the way they fit is very important. I’m happy to say, this chef shirt fits like a true 4x. Yay! I am not actually a cook. I do a lot of cooking at home for my wife and I, and I like to wear these because one: They make me feel cool, like I am a chef while I make us dinner. And two: They protect me against oil splatter and I don’t mind if they get dirty. Usually that means a thick shirt that is stiff and brutally hot in the kitchen. What I like about this one is it has a jersey material down the sides and up into the armpits that breathes really well, while that the front, back and shoulders are that thicker material to keep me feeling safe. It has sleeve pockets like any good chef shirt, and a long zipper down the middle to get into and out of it quickly. Overall I think this is a nice quality shirt, that makes it easy for me to throw it on and whip up some tasty food for my wife and I while staying just a smidge cooler.

This is a nice midweight chef shirt. It came nicely packaged, and the wrinkles all came after a launder and drying in the dryer on low. All the seams are even and well sewn, no loose threads. I even turn shirts inside out and examine the inside as I’ve missed loose threads in the past when I didn’t closely examine the shirt from the inside as well. I got this for my son in law who wears an XL normally, and the XL was a good fit but if anything a person on the edge may need to size up. The length is perfect for him, no concerns there, and the material seems to be one that won’t retain stains over time. He does report the zipper needs to be carefully zipped, and that holding it at the bottom with one hand while zipping with the other seems to resolve the issue. I got this as part of a promotion, but the price seems comparable for everyday chef coats.

Great quality, a bit stiff. I was hoping for lore pockets, but a small sleeve pocket, right rear hip for a bottle of water, and one small inner pocket, I can work with. I'm used to buttons, not a zipper, but so far, it works well. Great value for the cost, durable stitching, moisture wicking material, and the sides being breathable mesh helps a lot in the kitchen!

This chef coat fits well and runs true to size. I ordered a size larger than I really needed, but it was comfortable to wear while I was prepping grilled appetizers for a charitable event. Having to extra room made it easy to move my arms around while working the grill. I like the pockets in the sleeves where you can store small items and ink pens. There are some venting panels of thinner material integrated into the sides to dissipate body heat, which worked well for me because I'm hot-natured. The workmanship is incredible with no loose stitching inside or out. There is dual closure on the zipper which will allow you to remove the garment quickly from either the top or the bottom of the zipper. I like that feature where the jacket can be removed quickly if there is a kitchen accident. I've seen plenty of those in my years working in the restaurant industry. I would highly recommend this chef jacket for the quality, the fit, and the value.

I appreciate the design of this particular chef's coat because the zipper isn't what I'm used to, but I've really come to appreciate it, and I'll look for that in the future when I need a new coat. The garment seems to be constructed pretty well, and it washes well too which is always important to me. It runs very large so take a close look at the size chart because I should have sized down at least 1 size and possibly even 2. The material is SUPER lightweight, and it honestly feels tissue paper thin which isn't exactly what I prefer but I understand the concept for breathability. I just don't like it because in white it's basically see-thru especially once you start sweating in it. Not bad for the price point though and I'd imagine any home chef would really be happy with this.

I ordered this chef coat mainly to use while painting and cooking at home because I wanted something black, lightweight that would help protect my clothes without feeling heavy or stiff. I actually ended up liking it more than I expected. The material feels comfortable and breathable, especially when I’m moving around a lot in the kitchen or working on art projects for a few hours. It gives a clean professional look without being overly formal, and the short sleeves make it much more comfortable for everyday use. I also like that it’s easy to wipe small splatters off before they soak in too badly. The fit was roomy enough for movement but still looked neat and put together. For the price this feels like a practical item to keep around especially if you're like me and cook often, paint, craft, or working on messy projects. Great value for the price.

Well fitting jacket that wears very well. It's comfortably on the average size woman as well and provides the good level of comfort and protection during cooking. I'm done a good job of keeping the spills and mess from cooking for our daughter and feeding her off of us It would work well in a professional setting as well with a comfortable gusset on the side that allows for breathability and movement while also having nice pockets to allow you to have tasting spoon or thermometers. The zipper slides easily up allowing you to take it on and off quickly and the button on top keeps it secure so you don't have any exposures or food getting inside Washes easily and stores fine just as well. The material is stain resistant and looks like it'll hold up for a year or two of kitchen service or for household use several years. I like to wear mine while cooking on the grill to keep splatters and any sauces from getting on my clothes

Very nice jacket. True to size. If you are not sure, I suggest going for the next larger size. Note that the zipper is made left handed (as for women's clothing), which was initially difficult for a right handed man. The zipper VERY easily catches the inner lining and jams Note the photo). Material is polyester and cotton, with a shiny surface that apparently doesn't absorb and stain. For $30, this coat does the job.
