This review is for the following item: CHARMCODE All in One Professional Makeup Gift Kit for Women Full Kit - Included 54 Eyeshadows Face Blusher Highlighter Eyebrow Makeup Brushes Contour Lip Gloss Mascara, Suitable for Christmas This make-up kit comes well packaged in a nice box, but unfortunately a very large address sticker was placed on the box so it could be shipped to me, making the box no longer giftable. The make-up comes in a foam padding inside the box. Once opened, there are 4 different levels of trays of make-up and brushes. Also lipstick, mascara and lip glosses. I feel this would be great for a teen just starting to use make-up. There are a lot of colors to choose from and experiment with. But each color is just a small amount, so it won't last long. There is no way of knowing what color you are using to order more. I don't even know if that is possible. So when the color is gone, it is gone unless you are going to purchase a complete new kit. This is quite large in size and no way would I consider this to be travel sized. It would take up a great deal of room in the suitcase or carry-on. And you can't take it with you to do any touch-ups if needed. So definitely not that convenient. But it is a great price for a lot of different colors for someone who is just starting out to learn how to apply make-up. So far there has been no skin irritation and I will update the review if that changes. I think this is a nice set for a young person, but no way do I feel this is a professional make-up kit.

Cute little compact that packs a punch! Lots of colors all in good shape when it arrived. This will be fun to throw in my bag when traveling. My only complaint is that it would be nice if there was some descriptions of what everything could be used for especially if this was a gift for a teen just starting out.

If you want to help your kid learn how to wear makeup, but don't want to waste money on more expensive stuff, aka the stuff you probably use. Then this is a pretty good kit. First, the box is nice for travel and storage, it is easy to open, slide out the trays, and get to everything. The makeup is not bad, but it is not the quality you might expect. But for a kid to learn, this is pretty good, and makes an easy gift.

This came through the mail and not through the regular Amazon drivers that usually deliver. It was packed with styrofoam around the case inside the original box so I don’t know if more protective wrap should be used or if it’s the mail people that are to blame, but it was a bummer for it to arrive like this. The colors are pretty and the makeup goes on good and seems to last throughout the day, so that’s a plus. The red lipstick is a little much for me, but I didn’t have a choice to choose what color I wanted so it is a basic makeup set. The mascara is ok, a small tube. It came with a few eye shadow sponge brushes and 2 regular small blush brushes. The case is fairly sturdy and opens up and then the 2 sides slide open to expose the rest altogether.

Love this all in one make up kit. Has everything I need from eyeshadows to blushes. Mascara , eyeliner. And starter brushes. Main part opens up then I can access under by sliding the top two shelves over. The quality of the makeup kit is great and I can totally see this as a gift for someone. Very giftable.

This set is very nicely presented and makes for a good gift. It’s very impressive and looks great. And it seems as if you get a lot. And you do… but you also don’t. Yes, there are over 70 “things” in this box, including some good brushes. But most of the makeup is in very limited quantity, so when you find something that works, cherish it… because if you continue to use it, it’ll be gone in a flash. And there is no way to replace it, short of buying a whole new kit. So that’s a bit of a problem. It is a great way to sample a bunch of different makeup, but none of this stuff is available individually, should you want to purchase it. Also, they say this is a “professional” makeup kit and I have no idea what that means. Do they mean it’s used in TV and film production? Or do they just mean this is a top-drawer well-appointed kit? They also describe it as a “travel” kit. At larger than six inches and weighing almost a pound and a half, it is not. It’s way too big for travel. And nobody needs that much makeup while traveling. And then there is the issue of where this is made and to which standards. It’s made in China by the Guangzhou KunShang Electronic Commerce Company and we have no way of knowing what standards they are using. I’m not sure I would feel entirely confident putting this on my skin. That being said, it’s a lovely and bountiful collection of makeup in its own deluxe presentation box.
