Won’t stop me from using it but if I were buying a new one I’d look for one that didn’t give off as much heat. It makes my phone hot when I use it as well. I loved this little charger for the first month. It fits perfectly in my purse, not too heavy, and was the perfect half day charge on full sight seeing days. Then a month, maybe a month and a half into having it, I would go to use it, only to realize it had no charge. I just assumed I had forgotten to plug it in, so I paid closer attention. I would charge it one day, and then try to use it the very next day. It would be empty. After this happening 3 times, I just gave up on it. My daughter was getting ready for her economics class and realized her ipad was dead. After teasingly scolding her for not being prepared i handed her this charger to help out. She plugged it in and the ipad charged to almost 60% by the time she got to her classroom. Plenty enough power 2 hours. It's small size makes it super convenient to carry around for piece of mind (unlike those 5 pound bricks that could fully charge a laptop 3 times over!)
