It really almost goes without saying that Charlotte Tilbury is almost always a five star item, and this brush is more like a six star if there was such a thing !! I know that if you use inexpensive makeup brushes that usually they work just fine, and I'm guilty of doing that as well. But, now that I've been invited to the island of Expensive Brushes, I don't think I'll be taking the ferry back to the mainland any time soon. In fact, I think I'm going to buy property and start living there. LOL, but anyway, these brushes are just works of art and German engineering !! Starting at the top, the bristles are just so soft and so beautifully shaped. If you look closely, you'll see that the bristles are never just cut straight off to shape, they are carefully put in graduated lengths for best blendability of your products. The Rose Gold ferrule is perfectly put on, you don't see a seam in the metal as you might in other makeup brushes !! The handle is so perfectly cut, so as to never be able to roll off your vanity table and fit in your hand perfectly. The color of the handle is a lovely burgundy shade, the paint is so perfect it almost looks like it could be glass !! The handle is also labeled with the job best suited to the brush. There isn't any chemical smell coming from the paint, so it must have had ample time to cure. The brush is also perfectly balanced to hold in your hand. At first the price may seem a little over the top, but the product is the result of some precise engineering and premium synthetic bristles, with that in mind, the price seems to be quite reasonable to me. These brushes will last a lifetime !!

the 'Charlotte Tilbury Powder & Sculpt Makeup Brush - Contour & Highlighter Brush for Precise Face Definition - Made with Hand-Pulled Bristles' is a multi-use powder brush that’s marketed for sculpting, contouring, highlighting, and precision powder application. i was looking for a makeup brush for detailed application and blending and decided to try this Charlotte Tilbury brush. i have a sensitive skin and look for very gentle brushes. this brush has a tapered head and soft synthetic bristles. the bristles are soft and densely packed. they are soft and feel gentle on skin, making this brush good for very sensitive areas, like under the eyes. the had of the brush has a tapered shape, which makes it easy to apply powder. i find that it is also good for sculpting in small areas like around the nose, cheek hollows, and temples with control. i like how versatile this brush is. it works with pressed powders and loose powders. i can also use it for highlighting, and setting specific areas. the brush is smaller than expected, so it is more useful for precision, rather than big powder applications. this seems to be a well-made brush and it holds up well with regular washing. this brush is a good choice if you want a high-quality brush for precise contour, especially for detailed sculpting and setting tasks. as with all Charlotte Tilbury makeup tools, this is a pricey brush, you are paying as much for the brush as for the branding. While it sits at a luxury price point, you'll find that the quality and precision it delivers makes it a worthwhile investment that definitely pays off with the most flawless and perfect makeup applications everyday. The powder and sculpt is genuinely an amazing makeup brush and deserves every one of the five stars I rated it. It's unmatched Precision and high bristle quality is really what sets it apart from other brands of similar makeup brushes. The hand-pulled bristles are incredibly soft, and they have just the right amount of density to pick up loose powder and blend it out without disturbing the base foundation makeup underneath. The pointed tip of this brush is brilliant for precise facial contouring and sculpting in the hollows of the cheeks, while the flatter side is ideal for pressing swirling and sweeping on your fav blush, highlighters and bronzers.
