This makeup brush from Charlotte Tilbury is very soft and the ferrule is nice and straight. There aren't any itchy bristles and the handle was comfortable to hold. The brush applied my makeup very cleanly as there weren't any stray hairs. I had a very easy time using it as the brush holds its shape and it wasn't difficult to clean. It kept its shape after cleaning my makeup off of it. :) This works with all my beauty products and is a good coverage. Its pretty in a deep colour. This blends out well. I think this is a nice brush overall as it's well made. It is a good value so I recommend it.

Soft, gentle, non irritating. Very easy to use, nice quality!! The size is standard and it’s quite simple to clean. I use an electric brush cleaner and air dry with good results and it cleans up nicely. I only have been using it with powder currently but it’s comfortable to hold and generally spreads the color well.

I love love love this brush! I use it every morning! The bristles are soft and feels very nice. It gives a nice diffused coverage which I prefer. The handle feels good and the size is perfect in my hand and not tiring to my wrist after each use. Someone might feel that its unimportant, but I've had brushes that feels like its giving me carpal tunnel after each use. This is by far the easiest I've had with a brush I use this for my foundation and then use my blender afterwards. Cleaning it is as easy as my other brushes. Though, I do use an automatic cleaner. Overall, I highly recommend this product, but I do understand that it is pricey. I think it is worth it! As my husband would say, "buy once, cry once".

I think this is a great foundation brush overall. It blends evenly and works well with every type of foundation I’ve tried so far, including liquid, CC cream, and powder. It gives a really lovely diffused finish, and I haven’t had any issues with streaking. That hasn't always been the case with foundation brushes I’ve used in the past. The bristles are soft but still firm enough to give some control. The brush head is smaller than most foundation brushes I’ve used, but I actually like that. The size and angle make it easier to reach smaller areas of my face, like around the nose and under the eyes. The handle is comfortable to hold and feels well-balanced. It has enough weight that it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy, but it also doesn't wear out my hand. Since it has synthetic bristles, it’s also fairly easy to keep clean. I use my regular brush cleaner on it. I expect it to last a few years with proper care. The main reason I knocked off a star is that there was a bit of shedding right away and during the first use. Thankfully, that seems to have stopped after that initial period, but it was still noticeable enough to mention.

This is a beautifully crafted foundation brush that delivers a polished, air-brushed look with minimal effort. The flat-headed design and dense synthetic bristles are excellent for buffing liquid or cream formulas; I found it glides smoothly over my foundation without streaks, and it helps minimize the appearance of pores and texture. The handle and ferrule feel high-quality and well-balanced in the hand, and the overall finish is quite luxe - an elegance you can feel when you pick it up. In terms of performance, it stands out. Once I found my rhythm (buffing in circular motions from the center outwards), application was quicker than with my previous brushes and the final finish looked more refined. I appreciated how it handled conventional foundation but also worked well with lighter tints and even a bit of concealer when needed. There are a couple of minor caveats: because the bristles are dense, it takes a little more care to clean thoroughly (make sure you massage the base of the bristles so product doesn’t build up). Also, if you prefer a really fluffy brush for sheer coverage, this may feel slightly “loaded” in feel - it's on the firmer side. Overall, this brush feels genuinely professional and worth the investment if you’re applying foundation frequently and want a smoother, more seamless finish.

I have naively been using cheap makeup brushes under the assumption that they were all the same. Since being introduced to Charlotte Tilbury makeup brushes, I now realize how wrong that assumption was! This brush is like magic. I used it with my liquid foundation, and the results were perfect. The bristles are not too soft or too firm, and the density is just right for achieving an even, streak-free application. I have not seen any shedding of the bristles either. I can apply my makeup so quickly and easily with this. It also washes really well. After using it with foundation a few times, I washed it with soap and water, and the foundation came right now. It looks brand new again!
