I’m really taken with this eyeshadow palette—it feels like a high-end piece right out of the box. The case is sturdy, the hinge is solid, and opening it feels satisfying rather than flimsy. The pans are well set, with clean edges and no obvious looseness, so I don’t worry about breakage or fallout from rough handling. The moment I swatched the shades, the pigmentation stood out: rich, full color with just one pass, yet still blendable so I can soften the edges. The mix of finishes (matte, satin, shimmer, whatever’s included) gives good variety: the glimmers pop beautifully when the light hits them, while the mattes build smoothly into the crease without turning patchy. The blendability is surprisingly seamless—even if I layer or deepen a color, it doesn’t get muddy easily. In use, it holds up well: I’ve worn it through a full day (office errands to evening plans), and even hours in, the shades maintain depth and haven’t faded drastically. I did notice slight creasing on my more oily lids if I skip primer, but with a base the longevity is solid. One small quirk: some of the stronger shimmer shades can have a bit of kick-up when you tap the brush, so I recommend tapping off extra before applying. Also, the mirror is decent size, but could be a little larger for full-eye views. Overall: this palette delivers on quality and versatility. It’s one I’ll keep reaching for when I want looks that go from soft day wear to more dramatic evening styles.

The Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette comes in a beautiful, cushiony, sparkly compact, complete with a chart on the back that tells you where to use each item. There is even a mirror the size of the compact. This makeup has an 18-month shelf life and is made in Italy. This palette is a dream for me. Almost everything I need is there to freshen my face for the day and get out into the world. I might use some eyeliner, mascara, and lipstick to complete my look. I like that these products are mature-skin-friendly, and I don't have to be a makeup artist to achieve a natural look. The palette consists of three eye shadows, a brightener, an enhancer, and a smoky look. There are two face powders, a finisher and a bronzer, and two cheek powders, a matte and a glow. Some glisten and some are matte. These powders are applied with brushes you have at home, or fingers are sometimes appropriate. This palette is called Pretty, Glowing Beauty, and works well for my light/neutral/sometimes tan skin tone. It is a cooler palette except for the face bronze, but if applied lightly, it will work for those who usually don't use any warm colors. This truly is a five-minute face since everything is right here and easily accessible. I am so glad I have found this fabulous compact and feel it is a good value since it will last me a very long time.

Very suitable if you're fair to light/medium! I'm NC 20 and I find these powders to be super buttery soft with a silky finish (sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) with high-quality binders so they don't fall loose all over the place. They almost feel cushion-y. The illuminator shade is buttery too with an “in your face” sheen. All the shades are hits. They last for several hours. I’m not saying you’ll never need a touch-up, but I didn’t feel a massive need to reapply. I do work indoors though, so it’s not like I’m hiking in this makeup :) It does contain carmine (sections 3 and 6), which I only know because my vegetarian friend avoids that dye. I like that it has different oils (like sweet almond) that keep it a little moisturizing. The finish, texture, and thoughtfulness of this palette feel much more intentional than a regular drugstore palette I own. Whether it’s worth the value depends on your situation. For me, it’s a splurge, definitely a 'treat myself' product, not an every-week thing. If you travel a lot, this would also be convenient because the case is high quality -- very sturdy / won't fly open -- yet not hard to open. I can even open it with one hand. It’s beautiful and sturdy.

i’ll start by saying this is the most beautiful palette. titled the hollywood “instant look in a palette” it contains an eye brightener, an eye enhancer, an eye smoke, face powder, face bronzer, a matte cheek blush, and a glowy cheek blush. each part is as stunning as the next. they apply so well & blend out flawlessly. i love the cooler shades in this palette and think they can compliment a host of different skin tones, being paler myself i found these shades to work nice with my skin. from the packaging to the product itself, all of this feels very high quality. the slight puff to the palettes casing with the CT emblem is an adorable addition to an otherwise flat case, and the built in mirror is useful as well. overall 5/5, i can’t wait to experiment more with this palette than i already have. i am so pleased! it is truly a wonderful everything you need palette.

This palette has very subtle tones for a more day-time friendly look. I enjoy that each pot is labeled for what it's for in addition to having the chart on the bottom of the pan. In my photo only 1 eye has the eye shadow on it and the other does not. It evened out my natural skin tone a bit and added a little shimmer to the lid, kinda hard for me to pickup on camera. The cheek also has blush applied and the highlighter, which added some color to my cheeks and a little shimmer. The shimmer wasn't picked up on camera very well but it is there! I have problem skin normally but feel like this gently improved the look of it without looking caked on or powdery. It gives off a very natural and clean look. Also, the pan is very pretty, the top is so glittery, it's very beautiful!
