I love most Charlotte Tilbury products. They are high quality, but expensive which is why I I only gave 4 stars. The color is beautiful and I feel like my lips stay hydrated. The packaging is nice too. I like being able to see the color through the tube. I think this will be my every day lip gloss for now. (Also the little heart applicator is so cute!) ... show more

This is a review of Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Lip Bath - Plumping Lip Gloss. The color Pillow Talk is definitely a "my lips but better" color. It's a soft rose that's not too warm or too pink. There's a reason why it's a favorite and star color for the brand. The gloss itself has a minty scent and a very soft cooling effect on the lips that doesn't last long. It's probably the mildest cooling effect I've experienced from a lip product, as I only notice it for a few minutes before it disappears. This is a thicker gloss that isn't difficult to apply but doesn't effortlessly glide across the lips like other glosses I've tried. It feels nice going on. The applicator is in the shape of a heart and while it is cute, I do find I have to dip back in the tube at least once during application because the wand doesn't hold enough product. When first applied, it just looks okay on the lips. You can see it just sitting on top of the lips. But after a couple of minutes, I notice it begins to meld into the lips and look really lovely. It's not a lip gloss with the highest shine possible, but it does make my lips look smoother with a pretty gloss. As it starts to wear off, I do notice my lips feel a little dry, so I wouldn't call this a moisturizing lip gloss, though I don't think it's really drying.
