So glad I took this on my trip to Scotland. The weather was all over the place and this jacket was so clutch. It’s lightweight but can easily be layered with a sweater underneath. Even by itself it cuts the wind the ease. The picture is from a hike on a crazy windy day as you can see from hair. Without this jacket the hike would have been miserable. Extremely waterproof too! From light sprinkling to heavy rain, this jacket did not disappoint. I wore this golfing and it was definitely appropriate to wear on the course. The jacket has a loose fit but I would say it runs true to size. I normally wear a size small and the small fit great. Enough room to layer underneath but not an overly baggy fit. I got a pink one and a blue one. Both colors look great! I like the material, it's not too plastic feeling. It takes a little place in a suitcase. I am traveling to a rainy place, and I think those will suit me. Lately I will keep them one in the car for rain, but where I live rain is most unlikely or seldom. Still will keep me warm if I meed something light later. The length is good. The fit is great. I live in southern Florida so normally I wouldn’t have a need for a windbreaker but this kept me warm during a recent African safari adventure. Riding in the open Jeep is very chilly in the morning but this helped protect from the wind. As the sun rose and temperature increased, the windbreaker was easy to layer and remove. If you owned a anorak from L.L. Bean back in the late 80's or early 90's and need a replacement after all these years, this is an excellent option. The current version anorak at L.L. Bean has changed and is too fitted and uses a different weight fabric. Nothing like the originals. I searched far and wide and decided to give this product a try. I was pleasantly surprised. It is very lightweight, which makes it usable for longer times of the year. Lots of color options and sizes. I like mine roomy to layer during the winter. This is the best replacement option I have found for the original L.L. Bean anorak, which lasted over 30-years of wear for me.
