This is my first time attempting to regroup clubs on my own. I previously was using MCC+4 Midsize Align grips and I really liked them, but after trying some synthetic wraps and really liking the feel I wanted to put those on my new irons. So I ordered these and received them in less than 24 hours. The kit comes with everything you need. If you don’t have a vice you’ll be at a bit of disadvantage and will have to figure out a way to secure the club. I have a vice and the runner shaft wrap that they included worked well. The bottle of solvent that’s they sent is the only suspect piece of the kit - the lid that was sent with mine was too big and wouldn’t screw on. I ended up just pouring it on instead of using the cap. Worked fine except for when I knocked it over and spilled some. I ended up having to use mineral spirits for the last few clubs. The proceeds of installing the grips went pretty quickly. I removed the original grips off my new Srixon ZX7s and the old tape came off very easily. I can’t say the same about TM driver and Callaway 3 and 5 woods, the old tape on them did not want to come off at all. I ended up just applying the new tape over the old on those 3 clubs, it made the grip just barely larger which is ok for me. Took me less than An hour to knock out my entire bag. Definitely recommend this kit - time will tell how they hold up but at this price if I only get one year out of them I’ll be happy ... show more

No issues during installation of the grips. I have done hundreds of regrips and this grip does not seem any different than other more expensive brands for installation. As many say, key is enough solution on both the tape surface on the club and inside the grip when sliding it in. Once you have the tip of the grip is inserted in the club shaft, push in from the bottom, do not pull the grip. The midsize I purchase feels more like a standard size. Good grip feeling, slightly softer than the Golf Pride Tour Wrap. I will update my evaluation once I take it out to the course in the Florida summer to find out how long they last and how they feel under humid conditions. ... show more

Always wanted to try a wrap style but Winn grips felt a little too soft and golf pride was a bit pricey so I am trying these. I live in Florida and play about 80 rounds per year. The grips were easy enough to put on with the included kit. Driver was a little bit challenging to get on, but the rest of the clubs were fine. I chose the midsize and have included a picture of a standard size Lamkin grip on the right and a grip taken off of an inexpensive hybrid club on the left which I recently purchased. Midsize Champkey is a midsize grip. These are not as soft feeling as a Winn grip (good for my purposes) and are mildly tacky. I wiped down with a bit of water and they do seem to be a little slippery, we'll see. Since I have only been regriping about every 120 rounds or so I am going to be really interested in how long these last. ... show more
