I love chacos! They are a great shoe for walking and light hiking. I love using them in the summer because of their open air sandal design. I got these all black ones because I wanted them to be able to be dressed up or dressed down. These shoes take some breaking in, once you've worn them a good bit, they are extremely comfortable and form nicely to your foot. The double straps are a little difficult to get on and off, but once the shoe gets used to your foot, then it gets easier as you get used to the shoe. ... show more

These Chacos are great for use for different terrain. Through sea water, in fluffy beach sand, on rocks, through wet caves. They wash up great with mild soap and a soft bristle brush. They are comfortable for the most part. I broke my ankle a few years ago, so I needed to be extra careful on this trip These sandals kept my foot and ankle secure during our hikes, because of the arch support and stability they provide. The reason they get a 4 star is because the fancy adjustable strap keeps tightening up across my big toe! I followed the instructions to adjust the straps meticulously and it still happens. Oh, and I could walk literally everywhere in these, and swim with them on while my hubby had to keep his slides in his hands! ... show more

I love these, had to break them in a little but have rarely worn anything since this spring. I love that I can go from running errands in the city, to long walks in the forrest or even hike moderately and explore the beach. Great for the PNW! Easy to adjust, they secure well and super snugly (if you'd like) or wear them more loose. May have to buy the tye-dye pair! ... show more

These arrived exactly as expected! They’re just the right amount of firm, but the sole is soft enough not to kill my feet. I had to work on adjusting the straps for a while to get the perfect fit, but otherwise they’re great.

I’ve taken a few trips and wore these on the days when I knew I’d have a long walk . They did good, I don’t recall having too much pain . I did get goofy looking tan lines on my feet though because the straps but no biggie .

I have widish feet, but I didn't buy the wide 9 and they fit great! It took my feet a couple of days to get used to them, and now I wear these everyday! So I highly recommend them!!
