It's more clear, firm and durable than thin and flimsy sheet protectors. There are white dots all over, but peeps in my area are not concerned with its imperfections. They're just happy to have an extra layer of protection. It's the difference between staying in good health or disintegrating health.

I used to use this for paper separator. However, I found a new use during the public health crisis. I attached a rubber band on one end (both sides) to make my own protective shield. Along with my hand made face mask, I was able to get extra protection from droplets.

I got this to attach to 3D printed face shields that I was donating to hospitals and frontline workers and it worked out great! I was skeptical that it won’t be clear enough but honestly it was perfect.

    • Not good for shields
I’m sure these are a great product. Not for face shields. Way too thin. You cannot see through these and they are flimsy and not see through. If you want to make shields the material needs to be thicker.

I just converted all my word stamp stamps time cling stamps and these have been great to store the stamps. I used them to make see through cards too. I will buy again

Ok for binding as advertised. Material is too thin & not clear enough for 3D face shield printing project.

    • Not the clearest face shield
So my intent was to use these to make faceshields with a 3D printed head piece as others have mentioned. However, I disagree that these are “clear.” Depending on how you define clear... Yes - you can see through them, but there’s a glare and the view is slightly distorted. If you’re in a pinch, sure, they will work. But if you actually need to use this to perform some other task (working, driving, going to the grocery store, literally anything for more than a minute) you will likely get sick from being dizzy or go crazy. ... show more
