I picked up this 24-pack of artificial vines to add some life to my room and build a better background for my stream. Once they are actually separated and hung up, I absolutely love them. You get a massive amount of length in the pack to work with, and they completely elevate the vibe of the space. However, I highly recommend opening these outdoors. Right out of the sealed plastic packaging, there is a very strong, unpleasant chemical smell. Don't let that deter you from buying them if you just unroll them and leave them outside to air out for an hour or so, the odor completely dissipates. For the price and how good they look on camera, they are totally worth that minor extra step.

To start - yes they are smelly upon opening. They air out quickly and then are unnoticeable in scent but not in sight. They look real and I’ve gotten many compliments on them already. Perfect for plant killers like myself who cannot keep plants alive lol

I love the way the vine looks. But I have just a couple issues with it. It was very hard to pull it all apart because it was tangled. It also has a very very very weird smell to it. It comes in small sections that are not very long but can be put together to make longer. The versatility of it is good. It has a darker of color of green for it. Not very bright green. I am using for my haunted hose and I think it really did make it that much better. I would buy this. Just note it has a very bad smell.

These were a lot nicer than I thought they were gonna be. They do smell horribly when you get them. I don't know if it's the plastic or what. I stung him outside in the sunshine and the next day they were fine. Couldn't tell they ever smelled bad in the first place. Setting them in the sunshine had a secondary benefit. They were more pliable and they were easier to bend and twist to where I wanted them to go. After a while, you just kind of forget they're not real.

Used to decorate for a wedding, it did a great job. Put the vines lengthwise on a table with fairy lights....simple but beautiful. And the price was good too. The amount you get is more than enough for decorating, hanging, use outside, etc.

Unpleasant Scent Issue Upon opening the package, I noticed an unexpected fish-like scent emanating from the garlands. Used these to decorate classroom ceiling, the bundles were filled great and looked very high quality. Easy to assemble and hang. Full thick leaves and bright coloring that hasn’t faded.

I got these to hang on each side of our porch railing so that when a package is delivered there is a little camouflage there to hide it. Was an impulse purchase but I’m glad I made it. They do smell funny when they first get unpackaged, but if you just air them outside for awhile the smell goes away. They look real from downstairs, they look nice up close and they’re getting wet all the time in the rain but that hasn’t seemed to harm them in any way. I wasn’t sure how the vines were put together when I ordered them, pictured there being a long strand with strands hanging down from it (like icicle Christmas lights kind of) but each strand is its own one strand. I just draped them one at a time over the railing until I’d used them all. I’d take a picture but it’s dark outside. Maybe I’ll come back and edit this tomorrow.
