THIS ITEM SHRINKS! I tried it on the second it arrived, and it fit perfectly. I washed it in cold water and then hung it to dry...and now, 24 hours later, it's noticeably tight on my hips when I try it on with the same pants. So whatever size you need, get the next size up! That said, I love this shirt. It is well constructed with good seams and strong, quality fabric. it is breathable and incredibly comfortable. I just ordered two more, even though I ordered the largest size and can't size up, because I plan to sew in gussets so they fit my hips. The shirts are worth the effort for me. I'm a large woman with a lot of curves and bumps and this shirt gives my figure a soft appearance without sacrificing on structure -- it has just the right amount of flow to make me feel and look feminine. Just received this top today and I tried it on before I threw it in the wash. I purchased a size medium which is my normal size and it it's very true to size. The material is soft and its not too loose or too to form fitting. It's actually perfect! I love the look of it. I washed on gentle cycle and I hung it to dry. It washed well and it came out just as it went in. I was hesitant to purchase a top on amazon but I am leaving for vacation soon and needed some things but don't have a lot of time to go to the stores and shop. I’m giving it a 3 cause I wanted to like it. It’s just a big square with sleeves. No kind of fit, no shape or curve. Material is thin but nice & soft. It has zero stretch which is good if there is some kind of form. I would love this type of shirt with princess seams or maybe something A-line (ish) Whatever that gather at the back of the neck is supposed to do, it’s not doing it. It looked like I had a jump. This top is well made and so comfortable. The fabric is really pretty and the Rayon is much nicer to wear than polyester, which is too hot when the temps go up. I love the sleeves and it's casual style. I recommend this shirt, and it shipped quickly.
