They do have a smell and shed little, tiny green threads but if you gently wash them out with a little dish soap in the tub, they will be fine. They will bleed green a little when you wash them, but they stay together fine, and the color doesn't fade. They look so beautiful when put up. I have had to buy this product so many times because I just love the way they look. They do tangle but think of it as Christmas lights lol. They are long strands, they will get tangled, but they are easy to untangle.

(Wife) i’m a third grade teacher this year and I really wanted something to decorate the bland bookshelves in my classroom so I think these vines are perfect. I love the color and how long they are and how many there are in the set. I rated four stars because the smell that they have when I open the package is super strong and absolutely disgusting lol… I will have to air them out before I use them.

These are absolutely gorgeous!! They’re well worth the money and I wish I could keep them. I accidentally ordered and now have to return 🙂↕️ However, if you’re looking for solid filer in an arrangement or fence post-these are well made and realistic.

PACKAGING: There are a lot of similar products on Amazon, but after reading some reviews, I decided to go with this one and I am perfectly happy! They came on time and were packaged well, but I ended up detangling them for a while anyway because the vines themselves just stick to each other very easily. I did this carefully because the leaves fall off if you try to pull them apart quickly. SMELL: Like some other people mentioned, they do have a chemical smell, but I only aired them out spread out by an open window for about an hour before hanging them up around my classroom and my room didn't smell at all. QUALITY: When you look at the vines one by one, they don't look particularly real/natural, but when you overlap them when you hang them up, they look really great. One of my students was flabbergasted when he finally looked at them up close and realized they weren't real (lol). But that being said, if you ever look at real vine, real vine looks plastic too. APPLICATION: Super easy! I didn't even need to use tape or command strips to hang them up around my whiteboard because they stick together easily without having to intertwine them much. I just perched them along the edge of my whiteboard and let them hang.

I was honestly a little skeptical about ordering fake vines online, but these totally exceeded my expectations. I used them to decorate my bedroom wall and a bookshelf, and they instantly made the space feel cozier and more put together. The leaves have a nice, natural green tone (not that weird shiny plastic look), and the texture is surprisingly realistic. I’ve had guests ask if they’re real more than once 😄 They came in a neat bundle, no weird smell, no major shedding, and super easy to hang. I used some small clear hooks and a glue gun for a couple spots held up great. Also survived a weeklong outdoor birthday party without fading or falling apart. Highly recommend if you’re going for that TikTok plant aesthetic without needing a green thumb. Would definitely buy again for other rooms!

Loved this! I used this for a 4x4 bulletin board and placed the individual strands from top to bottom. I then also bought paper butterflies with the same order and added the butterflies to the vines. It is one of my favorite bulletin boards ever. It is 3 D and looks interactive.
