Color: Black-brown Magnification Strength: 0.5 x
These are so awesome. I was having some eye strain reading the computer and books. I tried on readers at the store, which were all at least 1X magnification. I needed something not so strong so I found these babies on Amazon. I bought the 0.50X magnifying glasses and they work perfectly. I use them at work when I'm charting for hours and looking at tiny medication vials. They help so much. I don't necessarily need them to see, but I don't get the headaches that I was having prior to using these. The coating that is on the lense really helps with the lighting that tends to come from computer screens. I'm just so impressed by these! They literally instantly ease the eye strain when I put them on. Side note, I went to my eye doctor to get my eyes checked and got a prescription after I bought these, thinking that I would get something better. These actually work better than the 177$ prescription glasses that I got! Plus if I lose them I won't be out that much! My eye MD was surprised when I told him Amazon had glasses that were less than 1X. The prescription ones I have are pretty much the same as these so I could have saved myself a lot of money if I would have just bought these. I highly recommend these glasses for someone who may be experiencing some eye strain issues. I would definitely try some on at the store and see what number you may need. Start out small. ... show more

  • Very well made
Color: Black-brown Magnification Strength: 3.0 x
I like that they fit well and I can see well. This is my second pair. Will probably order again.

  • Comfortable; Help with Eye Strain; Sturdy
Color: Demi Magnification Strength: 3.0 x
Just recently got these to use on the computer. I was skeptical if they would really work on eye strain. I definitely notice a difference. It doesn't completely stop eye strain but definitely helps a lot. They fit well but don't think they are particularly attractive (at least not on me). They seem sturdy, feel comfortable on, and have spring hinges which I like. I am a female who has a thin, oval shaped face and normally glasses are too big, clunky or heavy. These are actually a very good buy. Would buy them again. ... show more

  • Absolutely CRYSTAL CLEAR lenses! Very nice!
Color: Black-brown Magnification Strength: 1.25 x
These surprised me. I realize you can get (and I have gotten) three pair of readers (bi-focal even!) for $10 on Amazon, but they are not the same quality as these glasses. And at under $11 these are still inexpensive readers. They look decent, they have very crisp and clear lenses, and they are tinted slightly yellow (or blue blocking) to supposedly keep your eyes from getting as tired. I rarely notice my eyes getting tired no matter what color my screen is, and I tend to prefer the pure blue-white version of white over the yellow-white tint that is supposed to be better for you. Anyway, I ordered three different sets of glasses and they all arrived on the same day. These impressed me with how crisp and clear the lenses are! They have springs on the sides that allow them to stretch if your head is bigger. I have a very average sized head and these might be a TINY bit on the small size, and the springs are working just a LITTLE BIT. If you have a larger head, these might be small. But the springs will easily accommodate a wife variety of head sizes comfortably. I don't know how these will hold up, but with the springs and the pretty nice look and feel, I suspect they will hold up better than the cheaper lenses I purchased at the same time. These are easily five star reading glasses for the price! ... show more

  • AN EXCELLENT CURE FOR MY TIRED, STAINED AND DRY EYES, STARING AT COMPUTER,TABLET &. CELLPHONE SCREENS BEING AFFECTED BY BLUE RA
Color: Black-red Magnification Strength: 2.25 x
I have been in the hospital and on to Orthopedic Inpatiet Therapy facility, and have been playing on my iPad VERY frequently to pass the time. I was noticing that I felt a definite strain on my eyes and then began noticing that the eyes were becoming dry. I had been reading about Blue Rays and the effect on the eyes had become a problem with people who use their cell phones, tablets and computers for longer and longer periods of time. The symptoms are the same as I was experiencing. Found these here on Amazon (don't they sell everything😍)! Received them yesterday and they worked so well for me, that I was shocked to see the time that had passed with no dryness or strain on my eyes. The company packaged them in a nice zippered case and inside were the glasses, a soft draw string pouch that is the size of the glasses and an eyeglass cleaner cloth. Only a minor, an extremely minor description of the product. I purchased the red/black color, which appears as a deep sort of pink color portrayed on my screen. The actual color when you see the real thing is deep rust color and black. As I said, this was not a problem for me but I am including this information, because some people might buy just based on the color. I am completely satisfied with these glasses with both their functionality and price. If at any time in the future my opinion changes I will come in and update this review. ... show more

  • good frames, cheap, glaring, lenses.
Color: Black-yellow Magnification Strength: 0.5 x
The frames are really nice - very stylish and light, though the spring mechanism 'creaks' a bit when folding open & closed. The lenses are poor... I expected them to be better than your average $2 reading glasses lens but they seem to be the same - cheap plastic that doesn't wipe clean easily - they seem to hold onto oily streaks and require soap, plus they're dust magnets. Worst of all they have terrible glare. I work in a sunny room and no matter which way I face there are annoying, bright artefacts of light. I can't say whether the yellow tint is in fact cutting eye strain, but I will continue wearing them at the computer. I got the 0.5x magnification which I like a lot in front of the monitor. I just feel they're not truly worth the price difference from cheap reading glasses (at $15 vs. $2 - again, discounting the eye-strain factor which I can't noticeably feel). ... show more
