Paired these with some ankle compression sleeves for two reasons, and they did great for both! Firstly for recovery after long hikes. I have a bad ankle that swells up and hurts me a lot after a 15 mile or so hike and these help to mitigate that pain when I come home and also cut the swelling down. The way these were the most helpful is with my restless leg syndrome. After heavy excertion or exercise I tend to have bouts of RLS and struggle to get to sleep. Putting these calf sleeves on with my ankle compression sleeves solves it! I do not get hot while wearing them, nor itchy. These compression calf sleeves are fantastic. This is, by far, the best brand I know of for these. I wear them for both running and recovery. Initially, I was encouraged to buy them at a local high end running shoe store. This was the only brand they carry due to the quality of the brand. I wear them on all long runs and have a separate pair for just recovery use. They really work and help my legs with so many issues. Running in these is significantly more comfortable than without due to the fewer muscle vibrations. Running downhill, especially, is way smoother. After long days at work or after other types of training I notice a massive improvement (and euphoric comfort) from wearing these. I’d give 10 stars if I could. ... show more

I'm on my third pair, I accidentally washed the previous pair in the washing machine instead of remembering to hand wash. But I keep coming back to these since they work as intended. I've worn them after long training runs and they seem to minimize soreness the day after. (So what if I wear them to brunch with friends and they ask what I'm wearing... I just 'apologize' and tell them I just ran an 18-miler this morning and these help with my warm down. (That shuts them up, lol.) My dad is very picky with his running items (he runs marathons). He got a pair at a store and then asked me to order more online, so he must really like these things! I wish they weren't that expensive though

i have used these compressions every time while playing Pickleball and have not had any issues since then from my calfs. i have a torn calf muscle and have been trying to strengthen my calfs, but these sleeves are great, tight and comfortable to play Pickleball in.

Good compression. Will loosen up with use, seems to return to compression level after wash. Gave 3 stars due to a hole that developed after 1 month of use. Pulling in on caused the hole.

I would recommend buying this. They're tight but not too tight they're not loose the length is perfect the brand is high quality and the sock sleave is high quality
