My calves feel much better after a long run with these. They're not too tight but do give support and I don't feel the pain one associates with shin splints.

I bought these after suffering a calf strain while running. I had never worn sleeves before but I will never run without them again. I have experienced no discomfort while wearing them and they are very comfortable. If you are a runner you should consider them. Only negative is they are a bit pricey.

I was told calf sleeves were the cats meow for folks over 50. I ran with these and on and the second run I still injured my calf, my good one this time!

Make sure you warm up and stretch your calves considerably before running. These compression sleeves work well but you also need to take care of your body as much as possible. They allow me to play basketball and not worry about my calves. I strained my calf and 2 weeks later was back to playing 100% thanks to the sleeves and rehab.

We live in Fl and my husband needs to wear the compression socks. He chooses the sleeves and they allow him to wear sandals. While most brands are a heavy weave, these are light and great for this hot weather.

I found these to work well for a while, then they started coming undone. I got a 2 months use before I had to throw them away. For the price, the Zensahs are better.
