I recently lost my dad, and after my parents having their headstones laid for years and years while they made payments on them, no one ever bothered the vases that were attached to the stone. He’s only been gone 6 weeks, and someone has already raided the cemetery and stolen all the attached vases from his stone and all the ones around him. The fact that anyone could do that astounds me. I was heartbroken when I went to leave flowers and saw that it had been stolen. I wanted it to look complete and decorated properly so I found this well made vase that can either be set on the stone or has an included spike that can be secured into the soil around it. It’s surprisingly heavy, keeping it from becoming top heavy once the flowers are arranged in it, though I plan to weight it with stones at the bottom to keep it from toppling in the high winds we tend to get here from time to time. It has a shiny black baked-on enamel finish that has a light shine, and the letters are neat and easy to read on the front. I just hope it stays rust free once it’s in the elements for an extended amount of time. I’m sure I can sand and repaint it in time though if that was to happen, as it’s quite thick and sturdy. At this price, while it will look beautiful and complete the look that was intended, if it was to get stolen again it won’t be quite as expensive to replace. ... show more

Wow, is this heavy and sturdy. Exactly what I was looking for. The plastic grave vases just can’t hold up to the weed eaters. This one will have no problem with that, and the metal spike will keep it firmly in the ground. I’m not a fan of the painted sentiment on the vase - I am just not into putting messages on everything. But I can turn that to the back. Otherwise it is very nice looking. It’s a matte black with a finish that should hold up to the elements. It's well made, for the metal structure at least. I'll be shocked if the print or whatever makes the type up lasts more than a month in the sun. It seems like a sticker but should really be paint or heavy vinyl decal. But, when that happens a little sanding and the black alone will function fine. Not the kind of thing I really feel like modifying though, would rather have it "right". So if this fits your needs as a container, by all means, but I wouldn't hang your hat on this sentiment being visible very long myself. I haven't had the opportunity yet to get to the grave and put this in it's place, so I may come back and update after it's been out for a few months. If I'm surprised I'll add an edit to this review and adjust my rating. I'm just not terrribly impressed out of the box. It's pretty, but... ... show more

This is a very sturdy cemetery vase with a nice spike to anchor it and a drain hole to avoid water build up dislodging the flowers. It would be a 5 star vase except it came damaged -- quality issues not shipping damage. Shown in the red circles of my photos an angled 1 inch indention in the metal (above the word "Forever" on the right side) and at the bottom front of the vase there is a row of bumps in the paint like too much painted was sprayed and the excess dribbled down and created bumps. From a distance at the cemetery it is not going to be noticed but right out of the box expecting a first quality vase it is glaring. ... show more

It is weighted. Easy to assemble. Very strong and it seems to be durable. Decorative. I got it for my grandma's grave site. I think I saw a small drainage hole in it as well.

I’m pleasantly surprised at how heavy this is. It’s made of a heavy metal and definitely won’t blow in the wind. Suggestion: pick up some styrofoam for the inside of the vase to hold your flowers in place. I love the saying on this, “Forever in our hearts, we love you.”

This is an extremely well made cemetery vase. It’s all metal and the spike is also all metal. It has a drain hole at the bottom so that rain doesn’t cause you arrangement to float away. It has enough weight on top of the spike so that heavy winds are not likely to push it over. I highly recommend.

This is a really great idea for cemetery plot for a lot of reasons. First, this is affordable, yet sturdy. The metal is a thick gage and feels heavy in your hand. Second, this is customizable, you can pick the type of flowers and lighting you want to add. Moreover, you have three blank sides you could add your own details to, in addition to the pre printed text on the front/back. Third, this does not take up a lot of space, so it should fit in tight spaces. This memorial is also set up so it can be mounted to a wall using a hole in the back. Versatile, compact, affordable, durable, and nicely understated; this is an excellent choice as a memorial decoration. I can see this having a lot of appeal for people who are looking for a tasteful and practical way to honor a departed loved one. Highly recommend. ... show more
