I did not have huge expectations considering the price of the dress. That being said, everything about it is off - the fit (way too large and doesn't conform to the size chart), arm holes too large, spaghetti straps poorly sewn and flimsy, fabric is awful in both appearance and feel. This is cheap -- and it looks it! You cannot wear this on the street and I if my doorbell rang, I would not open the door in this dress. At best, it's a nightgown. I've learned my lesson. Very comfy dress. Material hasa soft linen or a slightly stiff t-shirt feel. It's a little on the thin side, so be aware of that in the whites / lighter colors. Overall a little bit big for a small; straps are a bit long and the armpits are quite loose. I'm 5'6" and it's exactly ankle-length on me. This dress runs too big even though it has spaghetti straps. I ordered five dresses all of them do not have consistent sizing and one of them doesn't even have adjustable straps. Buy one size smaller. I am 5 ft 10 in and weigh 171 lb. I bought a extra large based on the chart I probably could have bought a medium as I am not large on the top. ... show more

Was really surprised how well this fits! I'm 4' 10" and this was a maxi on me, but it doesn't drag on the floor. This particular one (I bought two patterns, but they fit a tad differently. The white dress with the black pattern has just spaghetti straps; non adjustable) has adjustable straps so that helps with fit. Very flowy and comfortable.
