It's true size, medium wide , has 4 adjustable sizes, I wear woman shoes size 7 which I set it to B. These are good value skates for my new to skating 8 yr old who has very thin feet - she found the boots to hire very uncomfortable Quite similar in style to a ski boot with long blades and good support Very please for my beginner.

They have a great look to them but as soon as I unpackaged them I noticed one of the lace loops arrived broken off. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to using them which they are now not as usable so they do not tighten properly on the foot. Other than that, overall nice.

Got these for my son who just turned eight. His hockey skates are size 2 but he's a growing boy and his sneakers are now size 3 so figured he was going to need larger skates. These are lighter skates and have a push button mechanism to "stretch" then out to the next size. I tried to get a decent shot of the settings on the bottom that list A through D for the various sizes. His is set to C although I my photo I show the range with the smaller one set to A and the other set to D. These are easier to slip on and off for him although the laces stick to the Velcro strap and that can be annoying. He said it's comfortable although my wife and I had our doubts. He wanted to skate with them the weekend they arrived so he wore them to his hockey lesson. I bought his hockey skates just in case he decided he wanted to switch back. Within the first few minutes he had fallen twice and didn't look confident so I was prepared to swap skates. He stuck with them though and made it through the lesson. When I asked which he prefers, he said "maybe both" so I think he's adjusting to the new skates but I'll let him decide. I think these are perhaps good for normal skating but he may want his hockey skates for his lessons. Time will tell. ... show more

My expectations for these adjustable ice skates were not terribly high. I was looking for something that multiple kids with different shoe sizes could share for occasional recreational use. The length adjustment mechanism is pretty clever and does not compromise the stability of the skates at all. The combination of laces, velcro strap, and ratcheting strap allows the skates to be tightened pretty securely. The insoles could be a bit more comfortable, and the blades need to be sharpened, but these are otherwise a nice pair of skates that can grow with the skater(s). ... show more

TLDR: Decent skates for the occasional skater ❄️ I got these for the rink downtown this winter and so far I like them. The fact that you can adjust to multiple sizes was already a huge plus, but they also have a pretty decent interior with fur which is also removable. I don’t think these will last long however. The outside is pretty nice too and I love the yellow accents. The blade itself seems like it will do fine but we will have to see how sharpening goes in the future etc. I don’t think these are made to last and are definitely not made for someone who wants to skate often or skates as a longtime hobby! They aren’t bad material necessarily but you can just tell that they won’t hold up forever and are mid material quality. Still a decent pair of skates for those who like to go occasionally to the rink around winter time or want to practice or even learn how to skate! 🥶 ... show more

We like to ice skate in the winter up here in Maine. It's so great to have skates that can adjust sizes, save money in the end. Love the fleece lining on the inside and the packaging for the skates is a sturdy bag with a handle on it, very helpful for storage and travel. They are perfect for the occasional ice skater; I would go with something more high quality if you plan to skate more often. ... show more
