This balloon kit was a perfect fit for our school library. Holding a Valentines Day dance, this set filled the room with love and admiration. Obviously, the Happy Anniversary balloon set was not used, but the other decorations brought the room alive. Three of the latex balloons would not hold air, but with all of the streamers and other balloons, it was a non-issue. Most were blown up using air, but a few, along with the foil ones, were filled with helium. Those lasted over eight-hours that I know of. (Students brought them home, so I am not sure how long they held the gas.) Blowing up the balloons was not that difficult. Some of the bigger sizes did take a bit more effort to get the balloons to expand. But with a few stretches of the latex, the task was managed. The latex was pliable enough that even novice students could tie knots in the balloons. We used the ribbon to tie some of the balloons together. Adding the sparkling, swirling heart streamers, they looked great! The glitter did fall off readily when handled, but not enough to make a difference from afar. We had problems trying to use the glue tabs, so we just stopped trying. Once they touched a surface, they were stuck there. The good news is that the adhesive really works, but the flipside of that is they didn’t always land in the spot desired. Trying to reset them resulted in popped balloons. And anyways, the kids were really happy with the ballons flowing free from the ceiling. The rose petal were the perfect addition to surround the centerpieces. With the help of five fifth grade students, the whole process of decorating the library took about two hours. But hearing the excitement of the students and teachers as they entered the library…. It was well worth it! Note: As a Vine Voice, it is my intention to help sellers improve their product while highlighting the features of it. I also try to be as detailed as possible with my feedback so that prospective buyers have a more complete “view” of the product. I attached these balloons to the plastic flowers and fed them through an arch. They were really easy to blow up and tie. I had this arch done in record time. The colors were vibrant and they lasted a long time. I would definitely recommend them because I saved a lot of money buying them here verses a traditional retail store.
