I had a Catalyst case for my original AirPods and LOVED it - it was perfect. It fit like a glove and I felt totally comfortable that if *something* happened I'd be OK. When my husband got me the AirPod Pros for Christmas I knew immediately what case I was going to get to protect them. I have to say, after getting it, I'm actually pretty disappointed. The case does work well enough from drops and bumps, but I would not feel comfortable testing the "waterproof" theory. It is not a tight fit at all, there are big gaps on either side of the opening.

I got this soley because I wanted a case that kept my airpods secure and was tired of dropping my case and having my airpods fly all over the floor. It is very hard to fold back the silicone top to open the airpods case. You need two hands to open it. It figured it would loosen overtime. Another problem is that when I would fold the top down to open the airpods, the weight of my keys (just 1 car key and a multi tool keychain) would make the silicone sag down and I’d have to constantly pull it up. Also the constantly lint and dirt around sticking to the silicone around the charging port drive me crazy. Those 2 problems I addressed are just the nature of silicone, if that doesn’t bother you like it does me, it would be a good case for you.

I loved this case and felt super confident in the protection it would provide. I knew it would be great for spills and little things but never tested the true water resistance. Over time it just wears out and is no longer useable. Expect about a year or less from this case. I’ve had this for just over a year and before the year mark it was already loose around my AirPod pro case. At this point it’s just a holder that can’t be trusted for holding. 🤷🏻♂️ Anyhow, good case for almost a year. Not sure if I would buy another… currently considering what new one to buy… so shop accordingly.

This is a great little case for the AirPods Pro. The case seals the lid close so that no stray dust enters under the lid. The design is good, the case is soft and does not add much bulk. After several drops, tumbles, and trips to sandy beaches my AirPods Pro case Only has a few small scuffs. I did have an issue with the loop for the caribener ripping - and the warranty team responded in only a few hours on a Sunday night. They were very friendly and resolved my claim quickly. I appreciate the great service.

This is a well designed case. It is made of quality material and I believe that it would have good longevity. For me, the assumptions in the design don't make sense. It is designed to withstand waist-height drops and full immersion in water. Their site has demos of water tightness and falls. I don't understand the need for waterproofness. One shouldn't be near water with $250 headphones I want a skin that will protect from scratches. It's a beautiful product but over-built for my need.

I have one of these for all of the AirPod cases we have in our home. We Love the protection this case provides and the durability! So easy to use and we never have to worry about our AirPods accidentally falling out of a case that has somehow come open. We feel so secure with these cases protecting our AirPods. We also love how they seal up the charging plug to keep it clean and dry. We wish they made cellphone cases, too!

I like the freedom this case gives you to have your pockets free from carrying the Airpod case, and the silcone does a good job to protect the airpods as well. I like the way the case closes on the airpod case as well, as it prevents accidental openings, which has happened to me with other hinge-style cases and I have almost lost an airpod. My only complaint might be that within a month, the loop where the carabiner connects split and the carabiner wouldn't stay anymore, but I contacted customer service and within four hours they had gotten back to me and shipped a replacement. Hopefully it was just a fluke and the new case holds up longer.
