First, let me say that I only eat this cereal dry, as a snack. I chose this cereal for its excellent nutritional value - high in protein and fiber, with no sugar! After having eaten the traditional cinnamon crunch cereal, which has a ton of added sugars, this cereal tasted rather bland. But as I got used to it, I appreciated its subtle delicious flavor. It is now my go to for a snack. The only drawback to this cereal is that it is super expensive. I wish they would lower the price. But nutritionally and taste wise you can't go wrong with this cereal. Just wean yourself off of the strong sugar taste and appreciate the subtle goodness of this cereal.

I used to dislike Catalina Crunch because it had a weird aftertaste and left a film in my mouth. Everyone experiences food differently, but since the formula change, I don't experience either of those issues anymore. It is solid and has a good crunch to it, but there is a bit of give before you get there, so it isn't like most corn based cereals. Speaking of cereal, I have found these are impervious to milk or milk substitutes, so I eat them as a dry snack instead. It is quite expensive for what it is, but it is overall a satisfying sweet snack that doesn't have too many net carbs.

These are so good and taste just like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I've been on a low carb/keto diet, and it is so hard to find good snacks. Or if you do, they are expensive. I crave something sweet in the evenings and fruit or yogurt do not cut it, I just wanted a "real" snack. With this cereal, I feel like im actually having a treat and not just settling for something that actually doesn't satisfy my craving. The bag has a decent amount of servings and is less costly than other keto friendly options. A plus is that these also have protein, which is an added benefit that I appreciate since I exercise a lot.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is some weird stuff. The flavor isn’t too bad, but could use a bit more cinnamon. The texture is seriously lacking! There just is no texture. You put it in your mouth and are not even sure it’s there the texture is so absent.

I'm a fan of the idea of protein, sugar-free cereals. This one is not bad. It does have that signature legume protein flavor, though, which kinda stands out more in the aftertaste. It is also not grain-free. I prefer whey protein but it's alright. The cinnamon toast flavor is nice, though. The texture and piece size is great as well. Very crunchy. Overall not a bad cereal. I wouldn't buy it regularly.
