Since they don't wander much, we put it to the test when our granddaughter went for a hike at an island a short ferry trip away and it worked! The GPS tracker comes with the tracking device, a device holder, a breakaway collar and a special toys for your kitty. This is a nice device and seems to work as well as my other trackers. The tracker is a little big for my kitties and they are what I would consider average size. Pros: * The package includes everything you need to track you kitty except the iPhone * Includes a breakaway color - which is the only type of collar for kitties Cons: * A bit large for my average size kitties If you don't want to use this to track your kitty you can use it like an AirTag.
