This knife features a standard jigged white synthetic handle with two full length blades, the clip blade and the spey blade. The clip blade is commonly used as a multi-purpose blade and is preferred for its versatility. The spey blade is commonly used as an all- purpose utility blade. These blades are constructed with Case Tru-Sharp Stainless Steel which is a special high-carbon steel that helps the blades hold an edge longer than conventional steel. It also offers extraordinary blade strength and corrosion resistance. The durable folding knife is great for everyday carry for projects around the house, the outdoors, and hunting. stainless Steel PROS: 1 Really holds an edge for a very long time and is easy it get back to sharp with a stainless steel sharping rod or 1000 grit whit stone. 2. Will not rust. And Case does not ship them with a well honed edge. Work around if you do not have the patience to properly sharpen the blades is to find a professional knife sharpener to sharpen it for you the first time. 2 Do not use steel wool to clean the blade. Using steel wool on stainless allows it to start rusting Carbon Steel PROS: 1 Quite quick and easy to sharpen because it is softer metal. CONS: 1 Just as easy to dull because the metal is softer. The color is identical to the orange Case Sodbuster (large or Jr.). Not as vibrant as the main photo here on amazon; though not as drab as the other photos next to it. Frustrating ! I was looking forward to the vibrant orange (fruit) color. As is it is more like a frizzbee that has been out in the sun too long or the fruit orange color mixed with a touch of white.
