We are very happy with our purchase. We are new to snowshoeing and figured that these would give us a great start - especially since the snowshoes come with poles and gaiters. We've already gone on numerous adventures with them and they've held up very well. One of the gaiters had a broken strap and we reported it to Carryown. They responded within a day and told us that they would send us a totally new pair of gaiters. We just received the gaiters in the mail and these are even better quality. The media could not be loaded. I purchased them for my little brother as a gift for his birthday. He is 5’2 and 167lb，as you can see in the video，a little fat.They are very light, easy to attach, and did the good job for him with a great walk in the deep snow. The temperature was-24 °and the mountain road was very unequal, but he told me the whole day they were work very well, fast and relaxed. And it contains two free snow poles and a nice black bag which I think the bargains are amazing. The gripping ability of the snowshoes is very strong. Sorry about the quality of video coz I still use the Nokia.Anyhow, it’s really a good buy andI believe my little brother absolutely loved them. Lived up to expectation，so far so good! ... show more

Very light, easy to carry with the included carry bag. My first attempt to use the snowshoe was on a wrong terrain the trail was too narrow and at a point became very steep with icy snow. I had to turn back, I slipped on the steep terrain and the pole was bend and broke. It was very difficult to return back safely to a less steep part. As second and third times I used the shoes on moderately steep trail with fresh snow and it worked perfectly. Going up and coming down it hold perfectly. It makes much fun when the terrain is carefully chosen, don't use it on ice and too steep places. ... show more

    • Easy on/off. Durable, & good storage bag.
Have never went snowshoeing before, so I got a set for myself & my 3 daughters. We went up to MI. to snowshoe through a couple of forest trails. The snow was about 2 1/2ft deep. We did sink a good foot through the snow, but was able to descend & ascend some very steep terrain without slipping. Also the polls came in handy, & was able to withstand a good 40lb push-up assisting in getting up the steep inclines.     • Meh. Inexpensive. Underwhelming.
On the plus side these appear fairly lightweight, come with poles and gaiters for not a lot of money. I also like the carrying bags. Tried them in deep snow and they work as far as I can tell. Next time I will err on a larger side - don’t make the mistake I made of buying smaller ones. The negatives so far: the buckles are wonky and the front ones don’t ratchet down properly. You need to push the strap through the buckle to tighten. That happens on all five pairs I bought. Also the poles are a bit of a pain to adjust and come apart easily... but they are as easy to put back together. The baskets on the poles are small... I’d prefer larger ones for snowshoe poles. Also, they throw snow at my behind as I walk like nobody’s business. I don’t know if all snowshoes do that, but these certainly do and that’s annoying. Can’t comment on durability yet. ... show more

I have to say they work very well when I tried walking in the snowland, and I am looking forward to having a trip with them. one thing that I have to mention is that you should insert the hasp correctly.
