Description

Imagine a bra that fulfills your every need - comfort, support, style, quality, fit and then add function & convenience. These are all critical elements that will make the difference between a good and a "great" nursing bra.The silky soft breathable microfiber fabric moulds to your changing body, whilst skin-to-skin contact between mom and baby is maximized during nursing due to the unique non-inner, cup design. This bares your entire breast when the front cup is lowered providing total skin-to-skin contact, thus enhancing and adding to your joyous nursing experience! Perfect to wear under t-shirts due to the seamless, smooth & invisible design. The wide under band substitutes under wire i.e. extra support &"lifting" of the breasts. Carriwell has taken into consideration that women's breasts can increase by two cup sizes between nursing's, and that it is imperative during pregnancy & nursing that milk ducts are not restricted. One of the most important functions of Carriwell's nursing bras is flexibility. A traditional bra cannot "expand" and then drop down a size and still retain its support. The bra has to be able to "adapt & support" larger milk filled breasts.

  • Deserves a place in your collection
I LOVE how comfortable and stretchy this bra is. It definitely moves with you and accommodates different milk amounts (so to speak) with ease. I love the bra extender - it's great if you gained a few pounds (like I did!). It is also surprisingly supportive for not having an underwire. However, I was disappointed that it doesn't have as much support as I thought it would with the other reviews that I read. If you are chasing a toddler in this bra, you may attract some attention. Also if show through is an issue for you, you won't love this bra. The other drawback is that the middle part is just shy of creating a uni-boob. It's not quite there, but almost. I think it's passable, but others might not. So it's not THE bra (how I wish Playtex still made their seamless nursing bra!), but I will probably buy another because it is just so comfortable. Especially great for low key, day to day wear. ... show more

  • Really good comfortable nursing bras!
Very comfortable nursing bra, before baby I wore a 42 G bra, and the XL size for these fits me well and I like that they come with a band extender also (which I use because I like things to be more loose than snug). Only reason I don't give 5 stars is because the straps slide off my shoulders often. But it isn't much of a big deal because after my first bra I did order 2 more so overall I'm very happy with these! I wear mine with nursing pads and a T-shirt and you can't see the pads outlines at all so these bras look great also. Also don't have any issues with monoboob as some have complained ;) ... show more

  • Excellent for 1X, 2X sizes
I'm a first timer, and have tried at least twenty nursing bras to find one that is comfortable and supportive for my 44DD bosom. I was 42C before pregnancy, and I'm 7 months preggo now. I got the XL, and wear the bra comfortably as is. I must admit though, that I was THRILLED to find a bra extender included, in case I need a couple more inches after my milk starts flowing. The fabric is fantastic - stretchy, supportive, and super soft. I've always worn underwires before, but somehow this bra doesn't need one. I'll be buying more. ... show more

  • Bravado Body is a bit better
Although this bra is pretty comfortable and stretchy, I found a tad bit more expensive Bravado brand is better for one reason. Straps that hold the bra itself if/when you have the main part unhooked are too big and they pull up a bit the material of bra at bottom. Not sure if this is clear, but in reference to Bravado, the main strap is thin as if in any bra, and that is all that is functionally needed. There is no true purpose of thicker and wider band to hold the bra- it is just making more imprints on breasts. ... show more

  • Great bra..just get the right size
I needed nursing bras desperately and loved how this bra didn't have any wires but seemed supportive enough so that I wasn't sagging. I bought a large according to the sizing info but needed a smaller size. I suggest buying by band width NOT cup size as this bra has A LOT of stretch capacity in the cup. I am a 32-34 band size and got the large...not too bad but should have bought a smaller size for better band support. Still love how comfy it is though. Will be buying more! ... show more

  • fits well but leaves a ridge of lines on my skin
This bra has good support for a non-underwire bra. The material is soft and the snaps seem easy, though I am still pregnant and thus not yet breastfeeding. The only thing with this bra is, the bottom ridge is ribbed with tiny ribs. It therefore leaves a mark of lines all along the skin and I don't like that. Furthermore, it's not all that attractive under shirts-- it gives a bit of the uni-breast look. I'd say it is functional though, is worth wearing and overall I don't regret the purchase. ... show more

  • expensive, but a nice design
This was worth the purchase---it was expensive, but it's a really nice design. There are no cups. I was a 34B and the medium fit pretty well. Slightly small at times, but I think it's really difficult/impossible to find a nursing bra that fits perfectly all the time. It's the most comfortable nursing bra I've tried. Fits kind of like a nice jogging bra--soft and comfortable. ... show more

  • The Best Ever!
This bra is extremely comfortable and easy to use. I have nursed 2 babies before finding this bra for my 3rd. Very easy to latch and unlatch one handed. Even when I was engorged in the beginning there was no pinching or uncomfortable poking. I am a 34 E and the Large really worked well. Just awesome. ... show more
