I’ve been searching for a curly hair products for a decade! I came across this brand hoping for a difference! It certainly did what I needed- the hold is there and helps keep my curls moisturized. The only thing I’m not a fan of is that it doesn’t help with my frizz as much as I would like. Mind you, I live in very humid weather. So I’ll assume it’s that. Overall, the smell is good and not overbearing and I’ve continued to buy it so it can’t be all bad!

I’ve been using the shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner for a few years. I almost ran out of the conditioner, so I re-ordered plus I ordered more shampoo and leave-in conditioner. Style: Curl Refresher Spray
(Hair type 2B-2C depending on if my waves have an attitude that day or not.) Wow. First, I’m older and didn’t know I had wavy hair and just thought I had nasty frizzy puffy hair from age, medical issues, and living in the desert. Best I could do previously was straighten it and watch it break and shed at a scary level. I bought this refresher and their conditioner. (I do use other products as part of new curly girl routine.) The pic is day 2 hair after a re-rinse with water and rosemary water, more leave-in conditioner, more mousse, and diffusing. Then I do the refresher on dry hair per instructions. Because I’m in a desert, I use the refresher a couple times a day now to reseal the cuticles (per my new stylist and it works). I just keep a travel size bottle of it in my purse. My tip! I don’t spray it directly on your hair, at least for this type of curl grade, but instead I spray in my hands, glaze frizz toward top, and scrunch the curls bottom-up. I use 3 squirts at a time and do about 3 rounds. This helps me not overdo it and get definition and shine. (Forget a shine spray cuz this stuff rocks!) And! The smell is just great! It’s like a warm sweet scent, not overbearing, and seems to blend well with other fragrances too (best comparison of scent: think vanilla, coconut, that category of sweet, not fruity nor Kool-aid malarkey neither).

The product def rebuilds my curls for the next day but I hate how it makes my hair feel. It feels so dingy and def need to wash the next day where as other products I could maybe get a second or 3rd day w out a shampoo in. Maybe it won’t make your hair feel gross but other than the texture it’s worth a try.
