These have been a phenomenal buy for those working out in rough conditions. I work in construction particularly with a lot of concrete and these boots have been great! They are very warm and comfortable for fall/winter but would not recommend in the summer as these boots are TOO hot. I am pretty rough with my boots and concrete doesn't help so they have only lasted me about a year but if they were maintained better they may last longer for someone else. I was honestly surprised how much these boots lacked considering I like carhartt products. I wear work boots around the barn and my trusty ariats were getting old, so I thought I'd give these a try. I had the correct size and my normal wool socks I use in boots with no previous issues. These boots didn't even give me a blister- they are so unforgiving the skin was peeled off my both heels after an hour or so of use. Three weeks later and I'm still walking around with bandages and a limp. Even if these boots hadn't destroyed my feet, there was no tech in them that accommodated high arches. Carhartt needs to go back to the drawing board for these, and I will continue to wear my ariats. ... show more

These are very nice boots. The leg shaft isn’t very solid so you could get wet through it or it may slouch and allow things to get to your legs. And they run small. So be sure to size up.

I work on a farm and live off grid. There’s nothing but mud snow and ice where I live rn and these boots are literally a game changer. I bought a pair of “waterproof” muck books and the first time I step in a baby puddle with them they filled up with water. These Carhartts have actual tread so you won’t slip, I chased my dogs through the snow in these and after my feet were still very dry. These were clearly repackaged and badly at that, came folded in half the short way in the box leaving a crease in the boots. The stitching on the bottom of the boot doesn't look like it will hold up long.

Not only is this boot nice looking, but it Appears to be good construction. Wore for the first time today And comfortable. Initially You have to get used to the stiffness of the boot if you’re not used to a work boot, but the stiffness seems to ease as you wear it.

Haven't had em very long, but so far so good. I did end up trying on one size and having to size up. Several reviews said the sizes were off, and I wasn't very sure what size I needed. They are a full size bigger than my Tony Lama boots. It's steel toe, and a rounded toe (I've been wearing square toe), so it's tighter than what I'm used to, but I figure that's to be expected. Walking on gravel in these seem more padded than my other brand. I have flat feet and I haven't had any pain. Still breaking them in, and hope to get a few good years out of them.
