When we purchased our home 26+ yrs ago, we also bought a gas-powered weedwhacker for yard trimming. I needed a good pair of sunglasses for working outdoors, so I combined the need for both with a pair of wrap-around safety glasses that just happened to look cool and funky. However, after two and a half decades they were so scratched, but even worse they could no longer be adequately cleaned. We no longer have or need a gas-powered weedwhacker, but I still needed outdoor safety glasses with optimal sun protection from all angles. This pair of Carhartt Spokane Safety Glasses is exactly what I needed and wanted. Their slimmer top-to-bottom design doesn't rest on my cheekbones, sun rays are totally blocked from all angles and so far, they do not slide down my nose when my face sweats. Though Carhartt products are typically higher priced than their competitors', this item's price was comparable, and even lower than most of their competitors' safety/sun glasses.
