This Carhartt flannel is everything I didn’t know I needed in a shirt. First of all, the fit is spot on. Relaxed, but not sloppy. Like, “Yes, I’m comfortable—but I also look like I have my life together.” It’s roomy enough to move in, but not so baggy that I look like I borrowed it from a lumberjack named Carl. The fabric? Soft right out of the package, with just enough weight to keep you warm on chilly mornings without overheating by lunchtime. It’s got that “I could wear this camping or to brunch” kind of versatility. The Rugged Flex material adds just enough stretch that I can actually move my arms like a normal person. Color: Frosted Balsam. I don’t know who named it, but they deserve a raise. It sounds like a candle but looks like a shirt that gets compliments. Earthy and cool without trying too hard. Bonus: I spilled coffee on it, wiped it off, and kept it moving like it never happened. This shirt gets me. I wear XXLT. This shirt has a generous fit. Very soft flannel material. I would say it is a medium weight, not “heavyweight” cloth. But it is not stiff, thick or coarse like more traditional heavy flannels and is very comfortable and relatively warm. I like that the chest pockets don’t have flaps and buttons that will wrinkle, plus they are large enough for my phone. I’m happy with the color and print. Size down for sure, i bought this for my boyfriend who usually wears a medium in everything and he was SWIMMING in it. Sized down to a small and it fits much better, still a little loose but loose enough to be comfortable, not to wear it feels like he's wearing a shirt 3 sizes too big.
