My husband is 6’4 with a long torso, it’s really hard to find hoodies and tops that don’t shrink up on him after they wash. We’ve tried going to a 2x in other hoodies and it just looks boxy on him. This come in a big and tall and are perfect for bigger men. The hoodie fits him nicely and has enough length that it won’t shrink up and look like a tube top on him! This is his third Carhartt hoodie and we will continue to purchase them, they are very well made, hold up against all his manly ventures (hunting, fishing, working on cars, even the “hold my beer” moments ) . We highly recommend this hoodie, and well anything Carhartt made!

The primary picture (which is what I thought I ordered) is wrong. The second picture is a different product and what they are selling unfortunately. Not too happy about the false picture advertising. How hard is it to post accurate pictures? Please see attached.

It's barely been a month and a half of use. I work mainly in an office setting with a few days a week traveling/on-site installer work for door access and CCTV systems. So I am not putting this sweater through any major use yet its falling apart. The hoodie is pilling everywhere! At the wrists. At the armpits ( more than likely from backpack friction) around the hoodie pocket where your knuckles rest and under the forearms where I rest them on my desk while typing away. This is definitely not worth the price I paid and am already looking for an alternative to wear for the rest of the winter season.

It is real carhartt . the colors are usually basic and I did think this was red as shown but more orange when compared. The fitment on carhartt can be very iffy ..I'm 5'7 158lb athletic build and got a medium and it's great fit. Shipping took long and kinda disappoint it's not red. All n all great hoody , very nice quality as always, looks and feels warm. It's thick not the fake thin stuff. I do believe this is a older model just bc how it fits. Alot carhartt runs big and well this is Tru to size . Will order another.

I normally get my sweatshirts in a large women and/or men's. And yes I know that men's run bigger..I got a large in this and it's bigger them my normal men's large buys. So if your on the fence, in my experience they run big and don't shrink at all.

I love the Carhartt brand in general, have worn many of their clothes over the years and have never hated any of them. I choose the brand because of practicality and durability, even in spite of occasional high price tags, because the quality of their goods is so high. I was once told the importance of investing in quality footwear. A well-made shoe of high-quality materials will last many years. Over the course of those same years, one will replace cheap shoes many times. So, the overall cost of the quality shoes, which has a large price tag, will ultimately be lower than the cost of multiple pairs of cheap shoes over the same period of time. I apply this same principle as often as I can to my wardrobe in general. I spend the extra money on better craftsmanship, better materials, and generally see my clothing serve me well for a long while. And that's why Carhartt is in my closet. That said: I have never been much of a "hoodie guy." Just wasn't my style. I was shopping around for a Carhartt jacket and saw their line of heavy outerwear, found they had a number of options, and figured I'd add one in just to see if I liked it. Worst case scenario, I knew I'd have a casual item I could wear out walking in the cool months of the year. As it turned out, I am indeed a hoodie guy. I love this thing! It's so comfortable and warm, and BIG with a large pocket, and it's perfect for the job I do, in which I often need a jacket for warmth, but don't need the extra layer and restricted movement a jacket tends to represent. Best of all, this design has a large, practical hood - unlike many cheaper hoodies that barely have a head covering to speak of. Hood up, the material sits flat, and provides plenty of room, so it doesn't interfere with headwear or headgear. Highly recommended. Get more than one.

Love Carhartt and this hoodie is no exception! Super great fit and plenty of room for shirt underneath! As a large guy I generally dont need thick coats and the like to stay warm. This will work perfect for those fall days outside. Seem like enough room to even fit clothes underneath to use in place of a coat on colder days. Super awesome hoodie!!

I normally wear a small in regular men's Carhartt sweaters. I should have expected that buying a small in big and tall would be too big... but I am apparently not as smart as I thought I am because I swim in this thing... LOL! If you wear a small in their regular sweaters, size down for this specific one. LOL
