  • Large is too big
I wear large clothes at 5'7" 165lbs. I'm too big for medium shirts and I wear 32 in waist in jeans. A large here is 50 something dollars cheaper than the medium so I just went with the opinion that large shorts fit well now so a large jumpsuit would, most ads oversell how big something is.... Nope this thing is massive. If you like 6ft or taller or just like to look like an astronaut then large is for you. ... show more

  • Top Quality
Size: X-Large Color: Carhartt Brown
These coveralls exceed any expectations I had. I expected a lot from carhardtt and wasn’t disappointed. The second time I put them on they felt like I’d had them for years; soft and broken in. Very warm with heavy duty zippers and lots of room to move around. Perfect!

  • Perfect fit!
I’m 56 and 140 pounds, the small fit me perfect! Just make sure to wear a shirt underneath because if you don’t and you get sweaty good luck getting this thing off. But that goes with any bib coveralls.

  • Well made
Size: 3X-Large Color: Black
Ordered 4X but had to return them since they were too long in crotch. Ordered these 3X and they fit my body length but the legs are too long. Having them hemmed but that is quite expensive. Even with this the coveralls are well made, very heavy & warm

  • WAY TOO BIG!!!
Size: Large Short Color: Carhartt Brown
I am 5’4” tall (I'm a shot guy, okay.) So, I ordered a short man-size, which was huge on me and too long. My 5’7” son tried them on after he finished laughing at me wearing them. The things swallowed him up and were too long for him as well. I returned them for a full refund. Just know they run extremely large. Quality-wise, they are fantastic. ... show more

  • Perfect
Happy husband, he has used these daily as the weather has been cold. I'm thrilled he loves them so much. They are heavy for sure burt they definitely keep him warm. He is happy to have them. Great price for the brand. You do have to buy thr hood separate which is disappointing after how much you pay for the bibs. Just FYI extra 30 plus for hood and purchased separately. ... show more

  • You’d have to be a Sasquatch for these to fit!
I purchased these because of the Carhartt name, and because we have in the past purchased several Carhartt products from jackets/coats to coveralls, and they have always been true to size. Of course, years ago, they were made in the United States, and they no longer are. I gave these to my husband for Christmas, and when he tried them on, the crotch hung down to his knees, and they were at least at least a foot longer than he needed. To give you a point of reference, my husband wears a 36” pant length, and in order for them to hit the ground, he had to hold them about 12-15 inches above his head. I was very disappointed in this product, and will no longer be buying Carhartt products, but at least the company is willing to take them back for a full refund. ... show more

  • Disappointed
In the picture the Black coveralls are the new pair the Brown coveralls are the old pair. You have to order the hood separately! I am kind of disappointed in my new Carhartt coveralls and the hood. I've worn Carhartt's since about 1970 and wouldn't even consider buying any other brand until now! At the end of the Winter of 2021-2022 I had 2 pair of Carhartt coveralls that I would alternate wearing during the winter. The end of the Winter was the first time I used my wife's new Maytag washer & dryer and it was time to wash these 2 pair of coveralls and put them away for the summer, long story short the extremely fast spin cycle on the washer broke the front zipper on both pairs of coveralls, the zippers couldn't be repaired and too costly and time consuming to replace the zippers. So I bought a new pair of black Carhartts last week, the beginning of the Winter of 2022-2023. I didn't like the collar on the new coveralls (the black pair) right away but I wore them yesterday for the first time anyhow and must tell you they are cold the wind blows right through the material. The hood is not near as warm as my old coverall hood, the collar is short and doesn't keep your neck warm the hood material is very thin and doesn't cover your face near as much. I don't like the angled breast pockets on the new coveralls it's unhandy to reach across and open the angled zippers to insert things like a checkbook or phone. The insulating material used in the coveralls themselves is thin and flimsy and you just don't feel protected for subzero weather. For some reason Carhartt decided to make these coveralls extra long, as you probably read in several reviews and I found out it's true but while wearing these coveralls I found that they bunch up at the knees which is uncomfortable and looks kind of "dorky". I will keep these coveralls maybe I will learn to like them but I will be going over to Scheels or Cabelas soon to look for warmer, better fitting pair for protection from the cold. ... show more
