I got these to replace another style of Carhartt work pants that they no longer make for my husband and so far he likes them. Per the reviews, they do run small around the waist so I did order him a size larger than he usually wears which was a good idea. This style doesn't have as much stretch and the fabric isn't as thick as the previous style but we're hoping this will work as the replacement for the discontinued style. My husband is a trucker, who also tinkers on cars all the time so I'm hoping these wash and dry well. Will update review if they don't.

I've bought the older version of these pants for many years. When it was time to order more they were listed as unavailable and these were the new version. I like the color but the durability of these pants is questionable. It's a lighter weight material that is not going to hold up. The reconfiguration of the side leg pockets is also a down grade. The old leg pockets had an additional snapped compartment seen in the photo of my old pair. I used this every day and all of these compartments have been sized differently. When I try carrying the items I've always carried they fall out of these pockets. For the increased cost of these pants there is not any upside. Very disappointed in Carhartt.
