This is a great shirt with some modifications. I'm 5'8" and bought a medium. I wear it untucked and it seemed too long as most Carhartt shirts are for me. I took it to a tailor and had him make the bottom straight, not curved and take an inch off. Now it looks awesome and no one else has one just like it! The fabric is heavy and the shirt is well made. You could probably buy two shirts for the price of this one. Considering this shirt will be hanging in your closet long after the other two have been relegated to the rag pile, it's cheaper in the long run. this is a good example of the old "you get what you pay for" saying.

First, if you are new to Carhartt, you must always get one size down when buying shirts. Do that and your new Carhartt shirt will be a perfect fit. This shirt is incredibly comfortable, extremely well made and durable. It is a lightweight shirt, perfect for work, going out, around the house, or anything else. The shirt tail can be tucked in or simply worn outside and loose. This shirtlooks great with jeans, khakis or work trousers. The left chest pocket is actually two pockets, very nice. First image is of this rehashed design, Maybe it's because I didn't wash it yet but the material feels "drapey" and thinner, this could entirely be in my head I don't know. The logo is more gaudy and larger and just awkwardly stitched in the middle of the left pocket... It's not even the shirt pictured. if you look at the advertised shirt when ordering, the shirt in my second picture (the one I got 3 months ago which is my favorite shirt) is the one pictured on amazon, nice smaller label, cleanly stitched on the top of the pocket. Changed factories in India or something? No idea why they would change the design of the shirt just to put the label in a dumber more awkward spot... It makes me paranoid that this is of cheaper quality now, they changed the label, what else did they change on my favorite 42 dollar shirt? ... show more
