  • Nice, lined pants with the perfect sized pocket for phone
Size: 36W x 34L Color: Gravel
So, what I liked is that they fit well, they are lined, but not too heavily, so I can wear them all day here in the Upper Midwest, not just when outside in the cold. They seem to be wearing well, the front pockets are deep, maybe a little narrow on the bottom. The phone pocket is nicely placed, and deep enough to contain a modern, larger phone; this pocket has no closure, but again, because of its placement and depth, I've not experienced any loss or concerns about losing my phone or any other object I've placed in it. It's so sleek, you barely notice the pocket is there. My only suggestion to the manufacturer is that they should have put a similar pocket on the other side. This works well for a right handed person, but maybe a left handed person would prefer that phone pocket to be on the left side. Also, as a work pant, the second pocket would come in handy to hold my laser measuring tool, screwdrivers, or other small hand tools for momentary use. Last, it says the pants are flannel lined. However, the liner is polyester, not cotton, and I'm not familiar with non-cotton flannel. That's like calling a flat rock you can skip on water a boat. Also, the liner seems to be attached to the pant material, it doesn't hang like a separate layer like in similar flanned or other lined pants I own. Yet, I like the light weight of the liner and pants, they are still warmer when woring in the garage or walking outdoors on a mild winter day - 20 degrees (F) or higher. Last, I thought these were quite a bit pricier than the competitors, but paid up for them to see what they were like. I do like them, but would be in the market again if the prices get in line with other similar brands of lined pants, like Wrangler or Lee. I have other Carhartt work pants, unlined, and they are similar in price to the Wrangler workwear, so I was surprised that these were a goo $20+ more than their counterparts in other brands. A good buy would be $40. ... show more

  • Great pants
Size: 33W x 32L Color: Peat
I wear these pants all the time. I laundered them when I got ready for bed, and took them off the line after breakfast and put them back on. Warm and comfortable. My baggy old flannel lined jeans were much more prone to droop, and looked like geezer clothes. These fit better, look better, are warm, and have a phone pocket. The “peat” color is great. I’m getting another pair. ... show more

  • Soft, easy to wash, and warm
Size: 44W x 30L Color: Gravel
I purchased these for my husband to wear this winter. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these pants and how nicely they went through the washer and dryer. The color and slight stretch are nice, too. My husband liked them enough to ask for another pair. Though I can’t speak to long term durability, they’ve been worn and washed several times and come out looking great. Five stars! ... show more

  • Most comfortable pants ever
Size: 36W x 34L Color: Gravel
These pants have become my “daily driver”, first choice for everyday wear, particularly for DIY, yard work, cleaning the car or any use where you don’t want to feel protective or careful about what you’re wearing. I love them so much I bought a second pair for when the first pair are being washed. The fit is true to size but the leg length did shrink by about an inch on first wash so get a longer size if you are in between sizes. Chino style pockets are much more comfortable than jeans style and the extra thigh pocket is perfect for a cell phone. Plenty of belt hoops means good support around the waist. Fabric is soft and much more comfortable than the Duluth duck canvas pants I also own. The legs are lined which makes them warm but no so much to make them winter / outdoors only - I’d call them 3 season. After several washes there is a little fading around the seams and wear points but no thinning of the material. I’ll be buying a third pair soon. ... show more

  • Pants run very small
Size: 34W x 34L Color: Peat
I’m a 32 size and I had to size up to a 36 to get them to button. Pants are very comfortable and very warm

  • My Favorite Work & Casual Pants (with a pocket for your phone)!
Size: 33W x 30L Color: Gravel
As others have noted, these are lined but not overly hot while indoors (if the weather outside is chilly.) I bought two pair last year and they became my go-to pants. I would say outdoors the temperature range is 55-degrees down to the teens. I live in eastern Massachusetts. If you get down to lower temperature ranges you're going to need long underwear in addition to these. The gray goes well with about any colored shirt. I am 5ft 10in, 180 lbs and wear the 33-waist-30-inseam. One great little surprise is the side pocket on the right (below the regular pocket) in which my iPhone fits perfectly. I much prefer these over cargo pants; I think too many pockets look goofy unless you really need them (get a back pack). You barely notice the phone in that pocket (I have to occasionally check to see if it's there) and it fits perfectly! I'm buying two more pair at this moment. If you fold them properly and pretend-iron them with your hand when folding clothes, they look like they've been ironed. I do that several times when their still warm and they look great. shown in photo after wearing several days at work. ... show more
