This specific style of dungaree has been my husbands mainstay for who knows how long. This time it really failed him. The inseam that was supposed to be 32 appears to be more of a 34, making them extremely baggy. I run a bread route, so I’m up early, hauling product, loading and unloading trucks, and generally sweating through the same five pairs of navy Carhartt Rigby Rugged Flex pants day in and day out. They’ve been my uniform for years—durable, forgiving in the thighs, and just stretchy enough to survive a dropped tailgate or a busted hand truck wheel without taking me down with them. But then life hit me with something unexpected: a funeral. Not even for family—just a neighbor or coworker level event—but I realized I no longer owned “dress pants.” Like, none. Not a single pair. I checked the closet and it was all cargo shorts, work pants, and a pair of jeans that haven't fit right since my son was born. So I did what any burnt-out working dad would do: I bought the exact same Carhartt pants I trust with my life, but in khaki, because apparently that’s the minimum requirement for looking “put together” in public. Let me tell you, these things are exactly what I needed: Still rugged enough to unload a truck Still flexible enough to crouch in a walk-in cooler But in a color that says “Yes, I’ll sit near the front at Applebee’s tonight” I slapped on a clean polo, tucked it in, and suddenly I was the most overdressed guy at the funeral buffet table—short of the pastor. My wife said I looked decent. My kid didn’t recognize me. And I only adjusted myself like, twice. Honestly? If Carhartt makes them in olive, I might just round out the collection. Pants look and feel great. Fits perfectly. It’s so hard to find my size in store but I found my size right away with Amazon. My favorite is the pocket on the side where I can slip my phone in and out of or my tools on a jobsite.

My husband tried these as work pants. He liked them but didn't love. They aren't very stretchy so bending down wasn't comfortable. the size came a little small than expected. The material is thick and great quality, very durable. A little over priced but they are name brand.

I’m so frustrated by the sizing of these pants. I tend to like a shorter inseam whenever possible, ideally I like a 28. Depending on the stretch, I can wear as small as a 40 inch waist. These are only available with a 28 inch inseam with a 40 inch waist. Well the 40 is a little tight and I do fear shrinking as well. But the length was great, maybe even a hair too short. So I returned and got a 42x30. Honestly, the 42 still seems a little tight, especially if they shrink at all. But the length is ridiculous! I really wanted these pants to be great. ... show more
