Sized on the smaller side. I'm a 38x30 across the board, but needed to order 40x30 for this brand. Otherwise a solid pant with no spandex.

I have enjoyed Carhart Twill pants for casual wear for a long time. They are comfortable for sure. I can't say for sure, but I suspect they are a little thinner than in years past and my last pair wore out in an area that doesn't get much use. Everything is so expensive now and like a lot of things we buy, I think they are over-priced for what they are. Having said that, show me something else and I will buy it. Until then, I will continue to go with what I know.

Purchased as work pants and these are as needed. If you prefer pants that sit at your waist these are for you. Other work pants, and especially jeans, appear designed to sit just above your knees and I got tired of constantly having to hike them up and readjust them and retuck my shirt every time I sat down. I’m over it, so I tried these out. They look trim, shirt stays tucked in, even when doing plumbing work and lifting/ pushing. Well made, super durable, thick material and stitching. Colorfast even after many washes. No iron- just grab warm out of dryer and fold. These are work clothes -so if you don’t really work these are probably not for you. Maybe a trip to the Lulul@mon store or just keep wearing those super-sized sweats. These run snug- if you are a 34 I’d go up to 36, etc.

Feels like they’re great quality, but the lengths run long and the waist runs small. I’m 30 to 31 waist depending on the brand and stretch. I usually just always buy a 32 and wear a belt saw in the reviews that these are small so I ordered a 34 waist. I can barely button them high quality and as a result have almost no stretch in the material, if I were to order a 36 for my 31 inch waist might be a little bit big but it would be more comfortable. So if you don’t mind wearing a belt with work pants, I would go up almost 2 sizes so it’s a little more comfortable . Also, it’s not just tight in the waste. It’s very tight in the areas where most dudes would like it to not be tight. I’m gonna wear them for a bit and see if I can handle the discomfort of the tightness but I have a feeling I’ll be ordering the 36 inch waste. The length does run a little long, probably only an inch. The other thing is that the waist sits a little bit higher than I would like. So really it’s not a waste size. It’s more stomach size that you need to measure for.
