I’ve worn this style for 34 years . The arms are different this go round and I thought I would like , to the contrary,like like it better than the old style. I find there to more mobility with less bulk and no real shift in the torso . Zippers seem to work well but seem to be a smaller gauge. The canvas to the weak spot as it seems to not be as tough. Have worn a hole in the left outer pocket from my work phone. Jacket hasn’t been on the job a full year. Still will buy another ,just have to patch this one and figure a solution going forward. ... show more

This is easily one of the most durable jackets I have ever owned (the other one is a Carhartt also). What else would you expect from a Carhartt? I will say though, that normally I wear an XL in shirts and jackets and originally ordered this one in XL, but it was WAY too large. I sent it back and ordered the Large size (that would normally be too small for anything else I've ordered) and it fit perfectly. Keep that in mind when ordering. If ever this jacket wears out (I seriously doubt that will happen) and need another jacket of this type, I wouldn't hesitate to order this one again. ... show more

This is the jacket I was looking for. After ordering 3 different jackets, finally I found this one. It’s very well made, durable, and plenty warm for those cold days. It’s not you super cold weather jacket, just for the chilly days. It also can have a good added to it.

It seems like a great coat but in the picture you can see the sleeves are to long. When I compared to the Dri Duck Rambler I found a better fit. Not saying this is a bad jacket it just built for a bigger chest and shoulders or long arms.

This is a well made jacket. It has the usual heavy duty Carhartt duck exterior, which is great. It's quite large and the sleeves are very long, which is cool if you order the right size. I usually wear an XL-Tall, but in this jacket a Large non-Tall fits best. The blanket liner is a horrible synthetic fabric, quilted cotton would be much nicer, but what are you gonna do. ... show more
