Hubby wears a 2x tall. He is not a terribly big man, but the 2x is comfortable and allows him to wear a sweat shirt underneath the jacket. Tall is best for him as he is 6' 4" with a long torso. It is the perfect length he says, which is great, as well made tall items are a bit hard to come by. When it was so cold right before this Christmas, I so wanted to give it to him early, as I knew he could use it when he takes our dogs out, but I held back until Christ Eve. That night when he wore it it was 4° outside. He said there was absolutely no wind leaking through so he was thrilled. Can't believe a jacket this thin would keep the winds out, but it does. So all in all, I could not be more pleased. I have yet to wash it, and yet to test it in all conditions. Have no clue on how long these hold up, but honestly, based on the look and feel of it, I'd say the quality is great.

Having owned well over 100 hoodies mostly zip-up style - if you are looking for WARMTH and Comfort this is hands down the gold medal standard. Basically a giant hug all the way up your neck and head as needed. If you are looking for a "light" hoodie for the couch - this is NOT for you - this is a LEGIT Jacket that comes in the comfort of a deluxe hoodie. Heavy-weight Champion, dual stitched everywhere - heavy duty zipper - weighs almost a full pond with quilt lining- haha!!! Wash it on Heavy 100+ times = SAME Killer hoodie. Buy it and do not look back.

This sweatshirt makes an excellent jacket for physical outdoor cold weather work, as it’s flexibility and comfort reduces fatigue. Additionally, it does seem to resist getting too soaked in a mild drizzle or snow flurries. The nylon lined sleeves initially feel cold to the touch but once on I don’t notice that. My only complaint is the sizing - I’m not a small guy, 42” chest and jeans size 34, but the smallest tall size, large-tall, is so wide on me that there are several inches gap around the waste - the elastic around the waste does nothing to close that. And this lets in cold air. This issue could be fixed by offering a medium-tall option.

This just arrived today. It is advertised as a 'sweatshirt' but to me it's more of a hooded coat. The outer appears to be typical sweatshirt material, but liner makes it much heavier. I ordered a medium, and it weighs just a touch over 2 pounds. As for size, I was afraid a 'large' would be too baggy for me. I'm 5'9" & 175 lbs and the medium is a snug fit. This is with only a shirt underneath. I don't plan to add any layers but if I did, I'd definitely need a large. The nylon lined sleeves don't bother me. A long sleeved shirt will keep the nylon off my arms. The insides of the pockets are napped (like a sweatshirt inner) for warmth and comfort. The elastic sleeve and waist bands are comfortable and fit snugly. The hood is lined just like the coat, and large enough to be comfortable. I look forward to wearing it. I think it will be all I need for our North Carolina piedmont winters.
