Sizing: I am 5-11 210# and usually wear a 34x32 pant size in almost everything and a large shirt. I ordered a 36x30. Size up in waist and size down in length per other reviewers. It fits perfect over jeans and a heavy shirt or sweatshirt. 32 length would have been dragging. Quality: Typical carhartt. These look every bit as good as my non-insulated bibs which are over 10 years old. The comments about the buckles being cheap tin are obviously people unfamiliar with these. They are made that way to be low profile and not come unbuckled when you are crawling around under a vehicle or something. I have never heard of one breaking or bending. Buy a pair. You will not regret it. I also ordered a pair of carhartt Yukon coveralls but returned them because the fit is too generic and baggy. Although they were extremely warm.

Awesome quality as expected. If you’re unsure of the size you need, as I was, be careful using the sizing guide on Carhartt’s website. It was way off and I had to return these for another size. I am 6’-3” tall and weigh about 220-225. I wear Levi’s 501 original in 36w 34l. When I purchased these the website said I need 46-34. I could have put two of me inside. I returned them and ordered 38-32 and they fit perfectly. The legs run long, so order a bit shorter than your jeans. For the waist go up 2-4 inches from your jeans size, depending on how much room you want. I went up 2 inches, and I can wear clothes underneath.

Hubs hasn't used the overalls yet as winter is very slow coming to Colorado this year! I will revise the review once he has a chance to use them in cold weather. But as for the fit, hubs usually wears a 42x32 in pants. So we thought that if he's going to wear them over his jeans, get a 44x32. Wrong... they were huge. These overalls are made with layering in mind. We had to go down in size and length, but now they fit really well. He has plenty of room to bend and twist as he works. But again, haven't had practical use yet, so will update then. Update** Hubs has used these while plowing in our Polaris Ranger. He loves these overalls. They are fairly easy to put on and take off. The side zippers on the legs going all the way to his waist really make a big difference. They're very warm, but as they have these zippers, you can regulate the warmth. Snow just brushes off them. These are perfect in every way.

Plenty warm for down to single digits. Definitely get 4 inches above pant waist size and listen to reviews stating to get 2 inches shorter than pant length. I got my normal length and they drag a bit with straps all the way tight. I am 5'9" 205 lbs.

I wear 38x34 pants. The first pair I ordered was based on my pant size. It was too big lengthwise. I returned them and ordered a second pair one size smaller on the length 32L. So far they seem OK. I’ve had Carhart before and it’s always been reliable and tough. We’ll see how these last and I will do an update in a few weeks. I wear mine when I cut wood and work outside when it’s cold and when I camp.

This is an excellent product. I tried these on and words alone can't fully express how pleased I was to get a perfect fit. The features and craftsmanship are also excellent. I am especially excited about the leg zippers that do run from the waist to the cuffs. I have lost keys and wallets while wearing my other bib coveralls because I mistakenly drop the opening behind the side pockets and the eventually fall through the pant legs. Just yesterday I got stranded at work because I lost my truck key in the 30 inches of snow we were clearing after this East Coast blizzard. this should not happen like this again because I can zip the zipper from top down if I need to get in my pants pocket, and zip the back up to avoid mistaking the openings for the coverall pockets. As soon as I got the text that these were delivered, I asked my coworker for a ride home to get them and my spare key. I sincerely recommend these coveralls and they truly deserve 5 stars. Thank you Carhartt and Amazon for delivering a great product.

My husband bought these bibs for his work trip to Barrow, Alaska. They kept him dry and warm the whole time. Most of the time he was there the temperature stayed at or below -30°. I would highly recommend these to anyone that needs to stay dry and warm in a very cold climate. I would also point out that, when they are folded up they do tend to take up a little extra space. So, keep that in mind.

The bibs are top quality. Problem is sizing the waist. is a 42 waist actually waist size or belly measurement (for bibs)? I took a guess and it was much too large. Also it is cotton and will shrink a lot does that void the warranty? I don't know and did not search it out. They have to receive the item back before issuing a refund normally this would be fine, but these are pricey so did not want to have a lot off money wrapped up in multiple pair trying to get the correct size so decided to keep them and alter them myself to fit. Because of the above I would never order something like this online. I will look for Carhartt Bib's off of the rack so I can try them on first.
