  • Keep you super warm! Check the size!
My husband loves his. He was able to work outside when it was 4* outside. We ordered him an XL tall. He is 6’4 and 210 lbs. The tall size is a true tall size. His were about 4” to long in the crotch area. He needed them for the freezing temps and work, so I bought some suspenders and sewed them on the inside to hold them up a bit. Works great. Other wise , I would have returned them for a shorter size. ... show more

  • Large is too big
I wear large clothes at 5'7" 165lbs. I'm too big for medium shirts and I wear 32 in waist in jeans. A large here is 50 something dollars cheaper than the medium so I just went with the opinion that large shorts fit well now so a large jumpsuit would, most ads oversell how big something is.... Nope this thing is massive. If you like 6ft or taller or just like to look like an astronaut then large is for you. ... show more

  • Good reputation, generous sizing
Great heavyweight fabric. We had difficulty with the sizing. My husband is 6'11", but very slender. I ordered the medium/tall...MUCH too long in the legs. So I ordered the medium/regular. The length was good, and the shoulder width was fine, but the trunk size was very generous so that the crotch was well below where it would have been comfortable (my husband is short-waisted). The extra length in the trunk was causing the coveralls to bind on his legs while bending down to work. Also, the zipper was problematic at the waist, getting caught going up and down. It did eventually function, but was a needless frustration. ... show more

  • Top Quality
These coveralls exceed any expectations I had. I expected a lot from carhardtt and wasn’t disappointed. The second time I put them on they felt like I’d had them for years; soft and broken in. Very warm with heavy duty zippers and lots of room to move around. Perfect!

  • Fit
I'm 6 foot 5 inches tall. Weight 230. The 2x tall fits well on m the arm length was perfect.

  • Disappointed
In the picture the Black coveralls are the new pair the Brown coveralls are the old pair. You have to order the hood separately! I am kind of disappointed in my new Carhartt coveralls and the hood. I've worn Carhartt's since about 1970 and wouldn't even consider buying any other brand until now! At the end of the Winter of 2021-2022 I had 2 pair of Carhartt coveralls that I would alternate wearing during the winter. The end of the Winter was the first time I used my wife's new Maytag washer & dryer and it was time to wash these 2 pair of coveralls and put them away for the summer, long story short the extremely fast spin cycle on the washer broke the front zipper on both pairs of coveralls, the zippers couldn't be repaired and too costly and time consuming to replace the zippers. So I bought a new pair of black Carhartts last week, the beginning of the Winter of 2022-2023. I didn't like the collar on the new coveralls (the black pair) right away but I wore them yesterday for the first time anyhow and must tell you they are cold the wind blows right through the material. The hood is not near as warm as my old coverall hood, the collar is short and doesn't keep your neck warm the hood material is very thin and doesn't cover your face near as much. I don't like the angled breast pockets on the new coveralls it's unhandy to reach across and open the angled zippers to insert things like a checkbook or phone. The insulating material used in the coveralls themselves is thin and flimsy and you just don't feel protected for subzero weather. For some reason Carhartt decided to make these coveralls extra long, as you probably read in several reviews and I found out it's true but while wearing these coveralls I found that they bunch up at the knees which is uncomfortable and looks kind of "dorky". I will keep these coveralls maybe I will learn to like them but I will be going over to Scheels or Cabelas soon to look for warmer, better fitting pair for protection from the cold. ... show more
