Love these and the number of pockets but I can see how they could benefit with the addition of MORE. Perhaps a small watch pocket near the cuff? And a few more layer pockets (small, med, large) on both the hip and the crotch area? C'mon Carhartt! These need MORE POCKETS!

Great Shorts! Thick and Durable. Breathe well and Stretch well. Large and deep cell phone pocket. I have the Samsung Z Fold Brick. It fits and stays in the cell phone pocket at work. Inside of the Pockets are the same thick material as the shorts. Dirt and dust wipes right off. I am very happy with them. If they last I'll prob get another color. Sizing: I read the reviews about sizing up. I would agree that carhartt pants and Shorts Run Small at the waist, at First. After I've worn them for an hour or so the waist stretches a whole size up. I normally wear a 38 waist. Lately my 38 are falling down and bunching up with my belt. I'm 6' 225. My 38 s have been baggy on me after that initial hour I was talking about. I do have a slight belly and my pants sit underneath my belly on my lower waist. I ordered 36. They were tight as hell only on the waist. I wore them to work and sure enough, they are a 38 now. I also do NOT need a belt with them! I also hang dry my work clothes because they get washed so much. I hope this helps people that are in between sizes like me. Just know if u get the size down or exact waist, it's gonna hurt your belly until u stretch them out.

These appear to be the same material and construction as the Carhartts that I've worn for nearly 10 years and can't wear out but finally outgrew them. The material is tough but they're nice enough to wear out to casual dinner, etc. There are plenty of belt loops. The phone pocket accommodates my big iPhone 12+. I take 'em out of the dryer warm and smooth 'em out and wrinkles are not a problem. I'm 6'3" 260 lbs and wear pants below my belly and the Relaxed Fit is good for me. The Loose Fit didn't work for me.

Nice shorts overall. Not heavyweight work shorts though. All cotton, so they shrink! I'd definitely recommend buying 1 size larger waste. Pockets are big and deep. The pair I purchased had some erratic stitching at the bottom of 1 leg. Comfortable to wear, but again, buy a size larger than you normally wear! They may still fit a little snug even then.

I've been using these shorts for a while now. They are comfortable and I like the right side lower pocket for my phone. Works great. The only issue I've had as they age (2-3 years) is when I sweat down my legs the front sticks and hangs down just around the knee. When I bend the hem gets caught on my knee and rips it off. It takes a few years to get there and in the meantime they are great.

I have had several pairs of these shorts and wear them every day during the summer. I am often outside all day working on our property and rentals and these shorts provide the comfort that I was looking for along with a pocket big enough to put my phone which is in a case in that I don’t have to sit on it. The quality of these has been fantastic And I plan on continuing to get them as long as they’re available.

The shorts fit well and true to size. Pockets are deep and useful. One area of improvement is the right side knife pocket. The bottom should be sewn shut across the bottom so it can be used for utility knives without a clip. Could also be a little deeper. One other area of concern is how well will the fabric hold up over time. I’m an old guy and remember when Carhartt canvas duck was tough as nails. This fabric isn’t even close to it.
