I am writing this review in 2026. I purchased this Carhartt bag in 2023 from Amazon. I just wanted to leave a review because I can't recommend this bag enough. This is my everyday bag for 3 years now and let me tell you it's been through a lot. The quality is unbeatable. My bag is still very much intact, no ripped stitching/cloth considering how rough I have been using it. The straps and zippers all still feel new and sturdy. It may look small but it fits a lot of stuff. I used this with my firstborn and now that I have a newborn it's still my go to everyday bag. Highly recommend. I keep coming back to this bag! Ill stray every so often and try other style bags but this one is my tried and true. Spacious enough for all my essentials and can add in my kids or hubby's stuff when they ask me to carry theirs. I added a purse organizer so I have homes for my things without them being damaged just flopping around inside. Never seen a bag this color either, I got it in port. It's like a muddy purple. I've had this bag about 4 years now and have used it pretty consistently. Love that I can even toss it in the wash if it needs it and air dry. I use this Carhartt mini backpack as a compact diaper bag when I’m out solo with my daughter for quick errands. It fits just enough—diapers, wipes, a change of clothes, and a bottle if needed. If you want a solid small backpack for toting around a handful of items, this will do the trick. It's not so small that it has limited use, but not large enough to become obtrusive itself. For reference, the main compartment will hold about what you can fit into a brown paper lunch sack. I know because that's what I put in there! Construction seems fine for the price, but I think it would have been a good tradeoff to price it up a couple of dollars and improve a few details. The front pocket is lined with something soft-ish to protect phone screens and such, but it's so subtle that I didn't even detect the lining the first time I put my hand in there. Also the side straps and top grab handle are bare nylon webbing that is thin and not all that pleasant in the hand or over the shoulders. The bag isn't big enough to carry a lot of weight, so I don't think padded straps are called for, but slightly wider and softer strap material would have been a nice touch. Also note that the small bag size extends to the grab handle and strap length. f you have large hands, you won't be able to carry the grab handle with more than two or three fingers. And even slim people will need to extend the shoulder straps to almost their full length to wear it as a backpack. For reference I am 5'9", 160 lbs and that is my experience. These minor downsides are more reflective of the bag's price than its capability. If you are looking for a small bag and are aware of what "small" means here, this is a good choice, and worth getting. With a few improvements it could have been a great one. ... show more

Love love love this backpack! It’s way roomier than it seems for its size. My daughter is getting older so I wanted a smaller bag to use as a ‘diaper’ bag and this is perfect. I can fit a few diapers, a pack of wipes, my wallet, her water and snacks, plus gum/chapstick/hygiene pads in the main pouch. In the front pouch I put my sanitizer and sanitizer spray. I can even throw my keys in the main pouch when I need to. The fabric is sturdy, straps are sturdy and comfy, and it’s nice and lightweight. The zipper sticks a bit and I have to jiggle it to get it to move, but other than that this backpack is perfect! ... show more
