Very durable. Has resisted rain the few times I've gotten drenched while wearing it. Has a lot of space inside and is generally ruggedly constructed. I use it to carry spare clothes at work most days, but also use it to carry expensive electronics on weekends so it's plenty versatile. Not uncomfortable to wear at all as the straps are fully adjustable. My only complaint is that the mesh water bottle bottle holder doesn't hold up that well, but even as the mesh wears away it still maintains structure. ... show more

Just received mine this morning from Amazon. What a great way to start the day! Easily fits everything I need. Great for if you travel for work. It's made with durable and tough material and keeps its shape. The zippers on the outside are really thick as well as the teeth of the zipper. Great feel when wearing. I'm carrying the same number of things as I did in my previous backpack which is also a Carhartt. But somehow this bag feels lighter. The shoe compartment was a tight fit but meshed seamlessly once it was zipped up, but I do carry a lot. Inside storage has tough nylon lining and compartments, pen holders, file holders, mesh zip-ups etc. And to top all that off it has aesthetic appeal. This bag is amazing! I purchased this on November 8th, 2025, and fell in love with it right away. I wanted to give it time so as not to rush a review based on looks, very stylish with an old world feel. acomfortable and adjustable chest strap, the buckle easy to use. from the first day, everyone has commented on the bag til this day. I open it up in front of them, and they can't believe what inside, how much room in these photos ( it was early morning at work, so I loaded my bag up for the day in a rush) in the Workday Backpack, Pic#1 below the bag of tools, there is a folded light sweatshirt and a plastic food container, and it's about 12" in length × 8" wide and 3½ in depth. the 12" tool bag with a jab/drywall saw, metal cutting snips, 2) 7" clamps , a tape measure, a and a few other miscellaneous hand tools. you can see I also have the inner back sleeves filled. small items, first aid kit, hand wash, deodorant, few snacks. safety glasses. Pic #2 I add a compact drill and a hard hat. The white arrow is pointing to the front pocket, I keep my phone charger, earbud carrying case, and small flashlight. Pic #3 The bag is zippered up closed with everything in side( yes, the hard hat as well with the compact drill is inside, crazy right?). The upper front pockets are deep, approximately 10". I keep masks and gloves. Pic #4 on the side i keep a bag full of nuts, and in that sleeve, I have 3 hi-vis t shirt and a pair of dry socks. there is the left side mesh pocket with 2 straps, i use bottle water that can fit two side by side or a 2' level if needed. I hope this helps ya'll. this pack is so good im saving up for one just for travel. the shoulder straps are very comfortable, wide, the zipper are heavy-duyt. this backpack feels strong. the top handle is very handy, I feel comfortable tossing this thing around ( this one is a work bag ) it's a tough work bag. price may seem high, but ive searched and bought 3 different bags, they are now donated to the salvation army, Ive spend more on those others before this one, you dont need to search anymore. the worse thing is you drive to whole foods and return it. its that convenient. good luck women and men, and be aafe out there. ... show more
