Had an issue with ABS light on in my 2005 Chevy Avalanche. When connecting a scanner, I also had code C0268 (Pump Motor Circuit Shorted). I replaced the pump motor, but that did not resolve the issue. Replacing the ABS Module with the Cardone worked perfectly, and the fault code and dashboard ABS light cleared immediately after installation without having to clear with my code scanner. It is very important to check the RPO codes to be sure the correct ABS module is ordered. In the glove box of the vehicle, there is a decal with Service Parts Identification. These 3 digit codes are called RPO codes, and identify what features your vehicle has. For my particular vehicle, my Service Parts Identification List in my glove box did not have the following codes: Code NW7 (Traction Control) Code JL4 (Active Brake Control) Since these two codes were not in the list on the decal in my glove box, that means my vehicle does not have Traction Control or Active Brake Control, therefore I had to purchase the ABS module that indicated it was for vehicles without (W/O) Code NW7 (Traction Control) and JL4 (Active Brake Control). So be sure to check these codes and order accordingly. I also returned my old ABS Module (Core) following the return procedure from Amazon after my purchase and received a $19.00 gift card from Cardone via email (about 2-3 weeks after returning core). Excellent product at an excellent price compared to original equipment, and great service with the core refund. Although Dorman also sells this unit, I opted for Cardone as the unit was cheaper and the core charge was less. Had my core not been considered usable after returned, I would only be out $19 as compared to $200 with Dorman.

Bad module shut my truck down. Engine wouldn’t run, security light, battery light , low fuel light flashing and gas gauge wouldn’t work. Wouldn’t let ECM module communicate with vehicle. Mechanic had to trace everything out and found the bad abs module. Costing me additional 475.00. Mechanic rebuild my old module and removed the one I brought from you.

My son replaced this for me. It took care of my ABS issue. The motor kept running, even when the truck was turned off. My son pulled the ABS fuse to keep the ABS motor from running, and I was able to drive my truck until he replaced it. I am the original owner of my 2003 Avalanche and have had very few issues during the 249,000 miles. The ABS was apparently a known issue, so I was lucky to go this long without having to replace it. If the rebuilt replacement lasts as long as the original, I'll be happy! Fast service, great condition and a fair price!!! Highly recommend.

Fits perfect worked great saved alot of cash.. far as the rebate goes im still waiting on my rebate they said my order was processed on 8/16/19 but i got a email saying it was processed 8/9/19 and it would be 48hrs well called couldnt get through so i emailed got a reply back 56min later saying 6-8weeks... wow i never had a rebate for anything take this long i will update if or when i do get the rebate

I was a little apprehensive ordering this but, what the heck if it works! Brake & ABS lights were off after I barely got out of the driveway. Pretty easy to replace with 4 small T-20 Torx headed bolts to remove. These little bolts have a pretty shallow Torx broach on them and it can be a little frustrating getting them undone. The bonus out of this whole deal was the $85.00 rebate on the core return.

Did not work on my truck My truck was not running after this module was installed the shop i took the truck to check why was not runnig charge me $400 to found the problem they show me every time we plud the module the truck dont work 😡😡😡
